I choose students who have TAKEN THE TIME TO READ my company website, have taken and submitted the online test that I request of them, and are then prepared to discuss the training courses they’re interested in during my free phone consultation. As a Master Trainer with 42 years of experience, my job is to train not only the DOG but the OWNER as well. In fact, training the owner is the most important aspect because the goal is to have the dog obey THEM when I'm not there. The free phone consultation gives me the opportunity to evaluate the dog owner's ability to follow my instructions and determines if they are ready, willing, and able to learn from me. Are they committed enough to be 100% successful? I am and I want students I can be proud of on my team. This is why I only choose students who are the right fit for the innovative system of teaching that I have pioneered over the last 40+ years. These are the students that bring out the best in me as their teacher. I truly love my job and serving my dedicated students. If you are willing to commit yourself to these basic principles, I will go out of my way to help you. Your 13 week old German Shepherd female was an exceptional dog to work with and our Master Trainer Joey truly loves the challenge of working with her (since he specializes) in working breeds. During his 1st meeting and evaluation class, she demonstrated her over protective nature by charging and barking at Joey and even nipped at his hand. However by his 2nd training class Joey had her aggressive behavior attitude fixed towards him. This type of aggressive behavior isn't uncommon for her breed as they mature, however, considering that she was only (13 weeks old then) it demonstrates a dog that will become extremely protective once she finally matures.
