I brought my 11 mo old, new to me dog Benji to Sherry for basic obedience and reactivity training. It was a total of 8 weeks and wow! Benji has improved so much since! Sherry is super nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating to your dog’s needs. Each lesson was unique to Benji’s progression. She shared with me so many tips and knowledge to help with his reactivity so I can continue training on my own with confidence! I would 100% recommend!

I can’t say enough positive things about K9 Off Leash Training and more specifically the trainer Ashley. We originally signed up our very disobedient 1 yr old for training and the two week program to learn basic obedience and commands. He is VERY people and dog selective which means he doesn’t like everyone. He responded so well to Ashley and her energy and style of training. Of course he was a stubborn bulldog at first, but she was able to build a bond quickly and knock down his walls to get him to learn. Once complete with the two weeks of training it was like we got back a completely different, well mannered, more behaved dog. We were so impressed we decided to send out other dog, who didn’t need to learn discipline cues, she was already well behaved and a people pleaser, but very shy with some anxiety and easily skiddish. Ashley explained that the same type of training would be good for her also, but instead of discipline she would gain CONFIDENCE. I thought it was far fetched because how can you teach that, but amazing Ashley did! Now instead of two codependent dogs who one relied on for support and one who simply didn’t listen, I have two well rounded, confident and behaved doggies. Well worth it! This training is awesome, more importantly lasting! And Ashley was by far so helpful in providing my very different dogs with their wants and needs. She gave daily updates, watched their diet and activity level and always kept safety at the forefront. Highly recommend Ashley!

Loren at Off Leash K9 Training Hawaii is truly an amazing trainer. Definitely request him if you can!! He literally helped me change my Golden Retriever puppy to such an obedient dog. My puppy didn’t listen much to any commands before Loren trained him for the 2 week board and train program. Living on the island I wanted to be able to freely take my puppy anywhere especially the beach without worrying about him running away off leash or just not properly greeting others because he was always so excited, which is the typical puppy phase. Loren trained my puppy to be a better listener at commands in any environment with distractions and gave me so many tips on how to handle my puppy through different distractions. He even taught my dog the commands with just signs! Amazing! He sent me daily videos of his progress and truly loves his dogs and his job. You can’t ask for a better trainer than him. He truly goes above and beyond at his job and included advanced commands because he saw my puppy doing so well. I felt so happy knowing my puppy was with someone who truly cared for him as much as Loren did. Thank you Loren and Off Leash K9 Training Hawaii for providing me the tools I needed to be a better dog mom!
