On Holladay Dog Training & Boarding is awesome! We recently got a new Labrador puppy and scheduled with Trey and Carly for their stay and train puppy program. Our hope was to alleviate some of the difficulties of brand new puppy life such as crate and house training and basic house manners. From the first contact Carly was awesome about explaining the program and coordinating scheduling to match with our schedule of getting our new puppy. Throughout the 4 week program they kept us up to date with pictures and videos of Dashers time with their family. They take the puppy in as part of their family, which I think really prepares the puppy for their new home and circumstances. On pick up Trey spent a lot of time going over how we can best continue the basic obedience fundamentals they began, as well as answering ALL KINDS of questions I had about basic puppy needs and expectations. They exceeded all our expectations! The night before dropping off our 8 week old lab I was waking up every 2 hours to let him outside or deal with the whining and whimpering in his crate. At 12 weeks when we picked him up he is sleeping ALL NIGHT LONG in his crate without a peep! Our puppy is confident and has a basic understanding of our expectations. We have had no accidents and the puppy biting we were experiencing had come a long way. We could not be happier with the service and value provided by Trey and Carly at On Holladay! We plan on working with them again next fall for their next level obedience training and I am sure our puppy Dasher can’t wait to see them again. 4 weeks ago we dropped off our puppy thinking it was all sounding too good to be true but we were really hopeful. Now we are blown away with what he has learned. The process of consultation was a breeze and Carly explained things thoroughly. Trey and Carly make everything so simple and easy (we even got typed out pages of the commands, expectations, and examples of different situations to take home and be able to quick reference). We always looked forward to the updates and knew our puppy was being trained but also loved like he was their own. We are so impressed and got exactly what we were promised. They even had us come out in 2 different sessions to learn leash training and then our e-collar training. Trey was so patient with us as we talked through everything. You can tell Trey and Carley love what they do and are where they are exactly supposed to be. This couple is a GOD SEND!! We cannot say enough about them and would recommend them to anyone needing their dog trained.
