Yes, we do occasionally have puppies for sale to carefully selected homes. Our dogs are not inbred or linebred, you can see some of their pedigrees on our website.

Rachel and Robin were great to deal with. From the very first message I sent to inquire about a new family member, they were very responsive and helpful. When we brought home our new puppy she was already housebroken. They do not breed for specific colors or markings. These are real herding dogs who are healthy, brilliant and loving. The best thing we did in 2021 was finding On The Lamb Herding. We are so thankful for our little girl!

So great to have Robin and Rachel here in the Upstate of SC breeding quality dogs so responsibly. Rachel so patient with puppy selection and providing photos and we appreciated Robin’s input regarding breeding. Cannot wait to take our Izzy for her first herding lesson and for Roscoe to come home. I have the most amazing border collie! ROCKY! He was from Batman and Spin 2014. Amazing temperament, obedient, smart, healthy, fast, works hard! And a love-bug too. Robin's dogs are the cream of the crop!

We already had one border collie and love her very much, and it became apparent that she needed a companion in addition to us (her human Mom and Dad). We came across “On the Lamb” and decided to take the trip to the ranch in South Carolina (about a 4 hour trip) as an availability had opened up from the current litter of Rock and Snitch. We never got a chance to meet Robin in person, but met with Rachel a couple of times. Rachel was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It was easy to see how well the dogs were taken care of and how high quality they were.
We fell in love with our Finnegan and he celebrates his 1 year birthday in about a week and couldn’t be a more loving intelligent boy. We only wish we lived closer so we could bring them both for lessons.
I give the absolute highest recommendations for this business. We are very pleased.

A few months ago I got a puppy from their rock x snitch litter. When I went it was short and simple, they answered any questions I had and were super sweet, my girl is such a perfect angel and I would definitely get another dog from them in the future, hopefully herding lessons to!
