One Command K9

I have waited over a year to leave a review, as I like to be sure my words. Here has been our experience: We rescued an older 55-pound bully pit from BHNW in the late summer of 2022. In the spring in 2023, we were contacted to consider adopting an emergency rescue 13 month-old, 30-pound, Boston/Frenchie/pit breed who needed an immediate home. When the new dog came to us, we realized we were in way over our heads. I've been loved by mastiff/bully/bandoggue breeds for 25 years, but this rescue was beyond my skill set. She was hyper, fear aggressive, and in a constant state of hyper vigilance. We had to keep the dogs separated at all times. We hoped that the dogs would get used to each other during walks and family share times, but this did not occur. So we looked for help. We spent the summer and fall of 2023 with a private training program that helped immensely. Luna (our pupper) made great advancements, and she began to enjoy other dogs and people, but she still was not able to exist in our home with our other bully. We spend seven months separating these two dogs. Fences, gates, and designated separate times for the family kept them peaceful, but we as a family unit were exhausted. An employee at our dentist's office gave us Joon's name when we were discussing how our situation was stagnating. We called, and Joon spent one evening with us. Over three hours, Joon evaluated our home and pets. He left us with a strict set of instructions. We followed them. Within two months' work and following his instructions, we were able to store the gates and fences. The accompanying image shows the results. The smaller black dog howled in fear and anger for months when she saw the larger brown dog. Now she adores him. We had done everything right with our rescues before asking for help. We needed behavioral advice. Joon had that. I do recommend Joon as a behaviorist. He explained to us why different training exercises would help. He showed us how to react and correct--and how to give love. He explained why we were to do anything he recommended. This man loved dogs. We are grateful.

I have a large breed who is having non-aggressive fear issues. Joon was amazing! I was able to put my dog (Grant) under control in 45 mins with clear concise instructions. He explained what was going on with Grant, how I can help him, how to see when he is relaxing and how to understand the environment he needs. He gave me exercises to do with Grant which I have been doing daily. I will be using his services again and highly recommend him.
