What age should I start socialization classes for my puppy in Fitchburg?
You can start structured socialization classes as early as 8 weeks old, once your puppy has received their first round of vaccinations. At Dog Training Elite in Fitchburg, we specialize in early puppy development and offer customized socialization programs that expose your puppy to new people, sights, sounds, and experiences in a safe, supervised environment.
Our trainers help guide young puppies through their critical 8–16 week socialization window, ensuring they build confidence and learn appropriate interactions early on. These foundational experiences reduce the risk of fear-based behaviors and set the stage for lifelong obedience and trust. Whether you're new to puppy parenting or looking to give your dog a head start, our Fitchburg team is here to help every step of the way.

How long does it typically take to house train a puppy in Fitchburg?
Most puppies in Fitchburg respond well to our structured house training program within 4–6 weeks—especially when owners stay consistent with scheduled potty breaks, positive reinforcement, and crate training.
We tailor every training plan to your puppy’s personality, your home routine, and environmental cues like local weather patterns that affect potty timing. With clear instructions and supportive follow-ups, families usually see marked progress in that first month.

JOCY IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE GAL!! She has been such an amazing trainer for my child ‘Charlie.’ A few months ago, since Charlie’s first training, she’s been nothing but a supportive and helpful person and I’m proud to call her my friend. 🥹 I was having a hard time at the beginning of becoming a dog mom and I was really struggling. I feel that without her, Charlie and I would not be where we are now. I fully recommend Jocy and DTE to any doggy parent I come across! Thank you for everything Jocy & DTE❤️

Great company, trainers and results! All the trainers we worked with were very knowledgeable, professional and helped us to make significant improvements in our beloved pup’s behaviors! He went from slightly reactive and very anxious around new people to being able to walk through a crowded area on command. Most importantly, they trained us on best ways to continue to communicate with our pup so that the training never stops. We especially enjoyed working with Jocy, would recommend her to anyone!

I got the platinum program for my Chesapeake Bay retriever Marshall is my Trainer, and he has worked wonders with my dog. My dog could not even walk by another dog without jumping on his high heel barking and trying to lunge. Now my dog has learnt to walk by other dogs without reacting and we have only had three private classes. Benji use to try and chase every car that went by. So walking him was difficult. Now we enjoy our walks daily. There is no pulling on the leash. We haven’t even started group yet. I can’t believe how much Benji has changed with putting my trust into Marshall. Also Marshall teaching me that if I am calm in training my dog will follow my lead. I have gone through other trainers and we have never been able to do none of this stuff. I would highly recommend anybody who was looking for dog training to go through Elite dog training and ask for Marshall. You will have a dog that you can live your best life with your buddy because Elite trainers will give you the tools you need. Thank you so much Marshall for all you have done for Benji and I!
