Onward Bound Incredible Dog Training and Grooming

We have a rescued GSD with reactive fear-based issues that were preventing him from receiving proper veterinary care. I reached out to several trainers before finding and making the decision to work with Onward Bound. Needless to say, some of the other trainers approaches were outdated and not the direction we wanted to take with our dog. Ally laid out a plan for us to achieve our #1 goal which to get Buddy his needed shots and keep him healthy. She helped us partner with an in-home vet and we all worked together as a team to achieve our goal. Ally helped us understand not only how to train effectively but why these methods worked and how Buddy perceived and processed commands. We have learned so much and while we rescued Buddy, Ally was and continues to be pivotal in saving this dog's life. As anyone who struggles with a reactive dog, this journey can be very difficult for owners emotionally. We can't thank Ally enough for saying all the right things to keep us going and staying on the right track with Buddy. Ally was as emotionally invested in his success as we are. He is a different dog after training, and we are different owners after meeting Ally.

We have brought both our dogs for training and they are the best dogs! Ally, Courtney, and Sara have helped them immensely and are incredibly helpful/understanding when something came up. I'm especially grateful for their program to board our dogs at their home. My dogs love coming to Onward Bound and love all the trainers so much. They are best buddies with Ms. Sara!! We are forever grateful to Aly & the staff at OB!! Aly saved us when we realized our little 8 wk old puppy we rescued was deaf. She helped us learn how to communicate with our precious girl and treated her just like a normal puppy! Aly is the only person we leave our girl with when we go on vacation💗. We have 2 other hearing dogs and would like Aly to be able to do a home visit to address some concerns, but we totally realize that a 40 min. drive is ALOT to ask! We completely understand and respect her boundaries- I’m sad someone would give a negative review for this! Aly and all OB staff- our girl Callie loves you guys more than puppy treats💗and Rick and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
