About Opportunity Barks Behavior & Training
Opportunity Barks provides dog training in Philadelphia and Bucks County using Lifestyle Dog Training, a real-life approach focused on behavior, communication, and everyday function, not just obedience. We offer puppy training, private dog training, reactive dog training, and Board and Train programs designed for real-world results. Clients also have access to Day School in our Philadelphia studio for consistent, hands-on support. Our farm supports Farm Dog® Adventures with transportation from Philadelphia, giving dogs the space, movement, and environment most are missing, so behavior actually carries into daily life. We’re also home to Sport & Social Club, a place to connect and build a real life with your dog.

Do you teach a dog how to get along with other dogs
Drema, We focus the bulk of our work with dogs that may be reactive (bark/lunge) or possibly be dog selective/dog aggressive (a known history or intent to do harm) on creating neutrality around other dogs on leash. Our goal is to help the dog relax, look to the owner for information and depending on the severity of the issue, get walking and recall work in a good place so the dog can function in the real world in a practical way. We look to develop coping skills and resilience, as many of these dogs too are just inexperienced, fearful or anxious. We customize our dog training and behavior modification programs and private training programs or boarding school programs would best address helping a dog get along with other dogs and creating neutrality around dogs. We love the OpBarks crew! we have truly done it all with this group, starting with puppy classes and now progressing to Farm Dog which our city Portie loves. she comes back exhausted after a day of outdoor stimulation with the best trainers around. Chelsea is her favorite and she can’t wait to jump in the van in the morning! Boarding with them is also great since as she is part of the training culture and it’s great reinforcement when the humans are away - we always say she’s going on vacation just when we are because she loves it and the whole crew so much. thanks for all you do helping our city pups navigate too much stimulation and helping us understand them better - we love our OpBarks fam!

Finding OpBarks truly changed our lives. When I rescued Bumi, he was timid, insecure, and completely overwhelmed by the world. Scared of everything the city had to offer. I honestly felt in over my head. I had never had a dog with this level of anxiety before, and I didn’t know how to help him feel safe. From the very beginning, the OpBarks team showed us so much patience, compassion, and understanding. They didn’t just train Bumi but they supported me too. Together, we built confidence day by day, starting with group classes and eventually moving into day school. With their guidance, we achieved things that once felt impossible and far out of reach. Today, Bumi is a completely different dog. He’s braver, more confident, and continues to grow every single day. Watching him trust the world again has been one of the most rewarding experiences. And honestly if it were up to Bumi, he would go to day school every single day. I am endlessly grateful for the OpBarks team and the care they put into what they do. Finding them changed our lives, and I couldn’t recommend them more! Special shout out to Ashlee, Janet and Siara! We will miss seeing you every week.
