Out of the Bark

Megha and Dan are awesome! Even though they are primarily dog trainers, Megha was able to help me with my cat, Simba, who isn't very interested in toys and needed a different approach to fulfilling mental and environmental stimulation. Over the course of a few weeks, we were able to teach him all sorts of new behaviors, building upon some of the things I had already tried. Thanks Dan and Megha for being open to a different type of training and being open to a different species of client - a cat.

Megha and Dan have been amazing trainers to work with. I was looking for private training instead of a group class being a first time dog owner. Megha went through training basics with us then we moved on to deal with reactivity. They are incredibly patient and explain the lessons and goals very clearly. Their love for dogs and desire for them to succeed is undeniable when you see them working and interacting with your four-legged friend.

We love working with Out of the bark. Megah and Dan are profesional, committed, passionate trainers who love dogs! From the becoming they helped us create a clear plan with goals and strategies. We started with a dog who was constantly pulling on leash, jumping on visitors and chasing our seven year old son every time she saw him running around the house. After 8 sessions Rylee, our one year old golden doodle was leash trained (no more pulling on walks/runs!) and jumping much much less on people. Dan and Megah also gave my son strategies on how to deal with Rylee’s energy and on strengthening their bond and connection. Out of the bark saw our dog as a whole, providing ideas on nutrition, daily routines, and ways to keep our dog stimulated with specific toys and activities. Out of the bark positive and humane training works! Highly recommend!

We started training with Dan when Taco was just a puppy. He made training so fun and it helped us communicate better with Taco! Taco understood our commands and body language thanks to Dan’s training. I love that the training is all focused on positive reinforcement. Dogs truly want to do everything to make you happy and serve you, but they just need help communicating with you! That’s where Dan comes in.. He’s the dog whisperer, I swear! Then we met Megha and found the female dog whisperer!! They now have weekly pack walks and we have so much fun training while playing games at the park! They are the BEST! I recommend doing 1 on 1 training and then joining the pack walks once your dog is ready! :) Here’s a video of Taco as a puppy training with Dan & Taco as a 4 year old handling distractions thanks to the pack walks Megha and Dan host! 🤩 SO thankful for them.
