Overdale Kennel, LLC

I have been taking classes at Overdale for over 14 years with 3 generations of dogs. They have taken me from the puppy manners class all the way to the highest level of competition. Along the way my dogs have learned basic manners and social skills they need in their everyday lives. I have taken almost all the classes they have to offer in obedience, rally, and agility. Their instructors are phenomenal! Very knowledgeable of dog behavior as well as helping the human handlers succeed I also board my dogs at Overdale. I trust them implicitly with my boys and I do not trust many in the care of my dogs.

We know that anytime we go on a vacation or need doggy day care, our fur babies are well taken care of at Overdale Kennel. Last year we had an incident at home with one of our dogs that was on the brink of requiring a surgery..this made us think we needed to postpone our vacation. When I called to talk about the situation, Valerie was QUICK to assure us that they have cared for all types of dogs needing extra care and that they would do everything necessary to help watch out for our boy. Praising the LORD he ended up NOT needing surgery, but it was a RELIEF knowing that it would not have hindered the stay and they would have taken care of him. Our sweet Miley, who has since crossed the rainbow bridge, was NOT a "dog" dog and they understood her need to not be around rowdy dogs and they spent extra one on one time with her to make her feel loved and exercised. It's these kinds of experiences that keep us bring our dogs to Overdale Kennel. We are going on another vacation soon and we know that our dogs will have a BLAST playing with other dogs and will be cared for.

We have a male GSD and female GSD. Whenever we boarded them they were happy, comfortable and knew they were well cared for. Their agility and obedience training is second to none! We never felt we were being left behind or lost in the classes. We were challenged but not beyond our dogs abilities/temperaments (or ours!) Staff was always clear in the lessons and willing to answer any questions. Their grooming services are also amazing! With their years of experience, dedication to dogs and their involvement in the surrounding communities, you would be hard pressed to ever find another kennel that would compare. We will go no where else!!
