Overdale Kennel, LLC

We travel during the winter and take our miniature American Shepherd with us. People often comment on how well behaved he is, and my credit always goes to Overdale Kennel. The training programs we participated in made a significant difference in Quincy's behavior around people and other dogs. I also recommend the boarding facilities at Overdale Kennel. They are clean, and when we need to board Quincy, he is satisfied with being there. I NEVER worry. Recently, we have started participating in rally, obedience, and agility training at the new Overdale Kennel located just outside of Spring Valley. The classes are well-structured and the trainers are highly skilled. Don't feel intimidated by taking classes at Overdale Kennel. They're GREAT!

We will only use Overdale Kennel for our dogs. When our dogs are there we know that they are well taken care of. Check in and check out process is easy to do. Everyone i have worked with there is nice and friendly and have your pets best interests in mind. Very clean facility. Our dogs had another wonderful stay at Overdale Kennel. This pic is from the day we picked them up. They must of had a good time!!! I especially like that they have a large area for the dogs to run and play, but if your dog is more timid they also have areas for them.

We recently boarded our spirited one-year-old dog at Overdale Kennel for a weekend stay, and I am beyond thrilled with our experience. From the initial phone call with Val, I knew we had found the right place. Val took the time to ask detailed questions about our dog’s habits, preferences, and temperament, recommending a preliminary day of daycare so the team could get to know him. The team at Overdale is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Our young, energetic dog, who had been asked to leave another facility for being too rowdy, was welcomed with open arms. They provided plenty of playtime, regular potty breaks, and sent us photo updates, which was a thoughtful and reassuring touch. In addition to their exceptional boarding services, Overdale Kennel also offers top-notch dog training. We took advantage of their obedience training, and it has been the best we’ve ever experienced. The improvement in our dog's behavior is remarkable. He has learned essential commands and manners, making our lives together more rewarding and more enjoyable. The trainers at Overdale are truly experts, and their methods are both effective and fun. We come from the Twin Cities to Overdale Kennel, and it is worth every mile. The facility is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, providing a safe and stimulating environment for the dogs. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable and caring dog boarding and exceptional dog training.
