I've wanted a Doberman as long as I can remember. Despite my genuine efforts, at 7 months old, I had a rude, manipulative, insatiable adolescent upon my hands who was quite literally running my life and me ragged trying to keep up with her mischief. Disappointed with the professional training options I found within a 3 hour radius, I pushed my search area just a little further and was blessed to find Mike. He's on a different level than any other trainer I spoke to and the training environment he offers is in a class of its own. Mike instilled good manners, a system by which I can communicate clearly with my pup, and an ability in her to just be calm in the house. Upon returning home, I was watching the client videos with my pup and she absolutely lit up when she heard Mike's voice! Without reservation, if your dog needs traing, Ozark Canine Academy is the solution to your problems. I look forward to sending my pup back for additional training as she progresses towards Service Dog status.

We cannot recommend Mike at Ozark Canine Academy enough! He has trained three of our Labradors over the years, and each experience has been absolutely phenomenal. Mike’s knowledge, patience, and training technique has set them up for a solid foundation. Each of our labs came out of training more obedient with a great head start on where we need them as a great family dog. Mike also takes the time to educate us as owners, making it easy to reinforce the training at home. Mike is the real deal when it comes to dog training…it’s amazing to watch him interact with the dogs. Not only is he super fun to work with, he really cares and puts the time & effort to help your pup get the most out the experience. I’d 120% recommend if you’re looking to give your dog the best quality of life since his training is unbeatable and the investment is way worth it. Our Darla came back her goofy & loving self, but can now make good choices. It’s incredible to see. We cannot thank you enough, Mike!!!
