P 3 canine training and obedience

I highly recommend Ryan at P 3 Canine Training and obedience!! I am the foster mom of Nina, who is approx 3 y/o cane corso who I have had for a little over a year. Prior to coming to me she was in a shelter for 8 months, and prior to that she was living in the back of a van with a fan and an extension cord to a house before she was a forced rescue, Understably she has a lot of trauma. Once with me she had to undergo 2 surgeries. I thought with my past experiences with large dogs my last being 120 cane/mastiff mix, I could easily train her by myself. Boy was I wrong and thankfully by a chance meeting with Ryan he offered to help this trauma, fear aggressive no confidence man fearing baby. We have been working with Ryan since April and the turn around in Nina has been amazing with weekly sessions Ryan has given us both the confidence to be able to overcome triggers and stressors of living in Philly. We work at our home, his home and now dog parks. We take our weekly session homework home and work on it all week and then check back in. Ryan makes these sessions fun, so she doesn't realize how much work she actually is doing along with positive reinforcement. The key to Ryan's training is to give both Nina and I the tools to become better; and with consistent daily work you will see the difference. I just had a school crossing guard tell us what a remarkable change Nina is " like night and day ". Due to the holidays and weather recently I was unable to keep our consistent schedule of exercise and training work, and Nina did struggle a little, now that we are back to a normal schedule with hard consistent work on my end we are back on track. Ryan is always available to reach out when you are struggling with something and loves to be updated when something amazing happens or something clicks for Nina. If it wasn't for Ryan I can't say what might have happened to Nina, she was already ear marked by the humane society to be put down due to her behavior. Ryan and I are now planning to work Nina in some more advanced obedience and some high pressure scenarios. I highly recommend Ryan of P3 Canine Training & Obedience. He’s been working with our Gidget for a few months now. Gidget was a flight risk which was one of our main concerns. By the end of her 1st training session, he had her entire attention. He made a very big break through with her listening skills which takes care of her door dashing & the Obedience she needs to be my husband's ESA. Ryan takes the time to explain the how & why of the techniques he uses. He believes you need teach yourself (putting the time in to learn techniques that you can work with & repetition) to train your pup. Gidget loves to see Ryan & show him off to all her friends on their walk. We found Ryan to be very dedicated to his clients & his fur students. He is very friendly & professional. We believe you will be very pleased.

Ryan has been training our Belgian Malinois, Crow since she's been a puppy. She completed general obedience and now is working on her advanced obedience and protection training. Ryan is the best trainer and is so patient with Crow. He constantly gives her positive reinforcement and makes her training fun for her. Crow always looks forward to her training sessions. We are forever grateful for Ryan shaping Crow into such a fantastic dog. We couldn't have done it without him. We will forever go to Ryan whenever we add a dog to our family!

On a whim I decided to reach out to Ryan @p3 to see what he was about..as he had SEVERAL recommendations..all glowing and satisfied with the training he gives all of his clients. We spoke for a little, but that was all I needed to sign up! He came by a few days later to go over my concerns with our (at the time newly adopted doggo) dog zeus. He worked with us for a brief period and had come up with a lesson plan that could work around my schedule. With Ryan's guidance I was able to make the corrections in myself to be able to have a better understanding of what i needed to do. I honestly can't say enough good things about not only him, but his family! While right now, our training has ended..I know I can call him if I have any issues..knowing he's there is such a comfort!
