Pacific Northwest K9 Training

We can't say enough good things about Tim! We sent our 8-month-old GSD Jackson to Pacific Northwest K9 Training for their two-week training program, and he returned a completely different dog. Jackson is so well-behaved and calm now; he needed a lot of direction when we reached out to Pacific Northwest K9 Training. I honestly didn't know how it would be possible to train him in two short weeks. He needed to learn leash manners, not to counter-surf, not to chase the cats, not to jump on us, not to chew up things, to place and stay, to sit and stay, and to lay down. He had severe separation anxiety. The list was extensive. Jackson was comfortable with Tim from the beginning. I told Taylor that Tim is the dog whisperer, and she said they are told that often. Now that Jackson is home, he's much calmer, obeys his commands, and is fun to walk on a leash. He has a strong foundation we can build on, and Taylor is always friendly and welcomes our calls and text messages for support. She always gets back to us when we have a question. Communication didn't just end when we picked up Jackson, and we immensely appreciate that. Our life with our much-loved Jackson is much better and so wonderful now. Thank you, Tim and Tayler. We give you a solid 5-star rating and recommend Pacific Northwest K9 training to everyone with a dog that needs training. Hands down, they are the best in the Pacific Northwest!

We sent both our dogs (male GSD and female golden retriever) to stay with PNW K9 for a 2 week board and train. These dogs are my entire world and I was so nervous to have them somewhere else for 2 weeks (I’m also pregnant lol). Our GSD was afraid of little kids, both needed basic obedience, and how to be out in public without being reactive. Tayler and Tim were great with them from the start. Our GSD had stranger danger and walked right up to Tim upon seeing him. Tayler would text me updates throughout the 2 weeks they were gone along with pictures. Our dogs have been doing so well at home with their new commands, we are coming up with a routine so they are being worked everyday. I can not recommend PNW K9 Training enough, I’m sure we will utilize them again in the future even for a touch up training session. I also appreciate the fact that I can text them questions at any time until we are all used to these new commands and their meanings.

We took our 5 month old Cane Corso for their 2 week basic obiediance program. With a dog his size now (70+lbs) and the size he will be full grown (140+) it was critical to his quality of life and ours that he have a solid foundation of basic obiendance and that we were educated and trained on how to continue this work with him and build his trust and confidence in us as leaders. With his puppy biting, jumping, excessive pulling, rushing people and doors, zero consistent recall and chewing everything. I was at my wits end on how to change these things! Tim and Taylor put in the time and the effort to set his foundation and teach us how to help him grow in his obiediance. They have such heart for this profession and the animals. They are a 10 out of 10! I am so grateful for their help with our boy. We look forward to Kona going back to them for their advanced obiediance program! Thank you Tim and Taylor, you are lifesavers!

Tim and Tayler were wonderful to work with. I was experiencing leash reactivity with my 1 year old dutch shepherd mix and haven’t been able to walk her without having extreme reactions when we’d pass people or other dogs. I booked my pup for 2 week board and train and am so glad I did. Now we can walk together and she walks proud and confident, she heels, and stays in her place (whatever I chose it to be). My partner and I were able to bbq outside with her on her place (the porch was our “place” for that moment) for about 2 hours with no leash or fencing needed. She did great! Even as people walked by on the street. Not to mention, Tim and Tayler have been available every step of the way with my many questions as she gets settled back in and I have an additional training session to fine-tune and work on any lingering struggles. Kali had a clear connection with Tim, Tayler and their kids as well which was nice to see. I hope to use them again for regular boarding on trips!

I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Pacific Northwest K9 training! I would give them 10 stars if I could. We took our girl to them for a 2 week stay to address some resource guarding issues and she came back a whole new dog! The training our girl received was worth every single penny! Yes you do have to maintain consistency with the training when you come home but they provide an excellent foundation for that which is the most important and hardest part to achieve. I cannot thank Tayler and Tim enough for helping us with our girl. Our lives are completely changed for the better and my own anxiety levels are down now and I didn’t have anxiety before things started with our girl.
