Pack Leader Dog Training

Susan is the absolute best and a pleasure to work with. My dog did not train with her, but trained at an out-of-state facility where Susan interned. I had been searching for a long time to find a local trainer that I trusted to maintain my dog’s training while boarding, and I’m so happy I found Susan! She really went above and beyond and allowed us to have a worry free vacation knowing that our dog was happy and well taken care of. I especially loved all the pictures and video updates. My dog can be anxious around new people and in new situations but within a couple hours of being there she was already playing and looking very comfortable. She even took the time to do some training on a few little problem areas with our dog. Susan is highly knowledgeable and a skilled dog trainer and I cannot recommend her enough!

Susan is an incredible dog trainer who we could not recommend enough. She trained our dog in basic obedience commands in a two week board and train and more importantly, she taught us how to continue with his training so he stays the well mannered dog she taught him to be in those two weeks. Susan went above and beyond during the go home sessions to teach us how to use the new commands and to teach us how to work through things that were challenging for us during his transition back home. We were shocked by how happy and excited he was when he was “working” but he truly enjoyed learning the commands Susan taught. This training has truly improved his quality of life; he is able to remain calm in exciting situations because he knows exactly what behavior is expected of him, he will be able to join us for more excursions (hiking, stores, beach, etc. ), and he is obedient to every member of the household because he knows the expectations are the same whether the timid teenager is asking him to lay down (or any other command) or the adult is.
