Pack Leader Help

I found Pack Leader Help on Instagram. It was pure luck that I found them! I started training with Julianne on my leash reactive dog who would zoomie on walks and zoomie when we came home, and basically just zoomie whenever he well pleased he should. I had no control over my dog, and Julianne gave me direction on how to calm my dog down in appropriate times. After one session, I implemented all she taught me and my dog became unrecognizable to anyone he met before. He is becoming much more attentive to me, is walking super nicely (it was once again enjoyable to go on walks) and would calm down very easily. We keep up with all the lessons we learned, and has helped so much. Julianne was super attentive to what I wanted to work on with my dog, and would mold our lessons so we could target that (such as recall on our later sessions). We also loved the group classes we attended that taught us how our dog should behave around other dogs.

During quarantine, I adopted an 8-month-old Doberman puppy and quickly realized she was unlike my previous Dobies: much more skittish, lacking confidence, and seemingly reactive to all things new. I found Brianna on an Instagram live chat with another trainer, and everything she shared resonated with me. I immediately began digging into her robust free content on IG and YouTube, realized I needed to improve my communication with my dog, and started seeing quick improvements. But I was stuck in a few areas, so I was thrilled to learn that she offered virtual coaching sessions. My dog immediately responded to Brianna’s recommendations, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with her support! Even if you aren’t local to the DMV, you won’t go wrong if you engage Pack Leader Help.

Highly recommend setting up a lesson with PLH if your dog has any behavior issues, no matter the age of your dog. Brianna is worth every penny and does not shy away from any behavior issue. She changed the relationship I have with my dog and now myself and dog are much happier! You also get access to her client-only group classes which allow you to continue to work on your dogs behavior in a judgement free environment. Brianna is very knowledgeable and listens to your concerns, but also keeps it’s real with you and lets you know what needs to change in order to see results. My dog was reactive towards garbage cans and after trial, error, and feedback, by our third lesson he was a completely different dog after implementing the advice and tools Brianna provided us. I strongly recommend working with Pack Leader Help if you are having any behavioral issues with your dog! We have a 3 year old dog named Marla that has struggled with anxiety, over excitement, and reactivity since she was 6 months old, which made it extremely stressful to even just walk around our neighborhood. We reached out to PLH to help with these issues, and I’m so glad that we did. After evaluating Marla, Brianna immediately started helping us work through these issues by working on leash skills and focusing on a calm state of mind. After each training session Brianna provides follow-up homework to help keep your training on track and consistent. I noticed significant progress with Marla on walks. In the following weeks we were passing bikes and other dogs with no reaction, which felt like a huge sigh of relief. This experience helped us realize that consistency in training is key to our success. Also, Brianna is honest with you even if the feedback isn’t what you want to hear but need to hear. You can tell right away that she cares a lot about dogs and people. Overall we had a great experience with Pack Leader Help and look forward to going to group classes in the future!

Brianna is passionate, extremely knowledgeable and intelligent, and committed to helping dogs and their owners. We met Brianna through instagram and I thought it would be impossible to get a hold of such a celebrity dog trainer but Brianna and her team were responsive from the very first email, which just shows how committed she is to helping people and their fur babies. Not to mention that Brianna is constantly posting information and resources to help those who maybe cannot afford to pay for dog training, or who don't live near enough to Brianna. Brianna is also very patient and yet still very firm when it comes to dog training, or better yet, owner training. I so appreciate the consistency that comes with that, both for dogs and owners. Brianna can intelligently explain why it is important to target specific things, like free roaming, that will help to address dog reactivity on the walk. She uses dog psychology to explain root causes rather than just giving you band aids to address the symptoms of the root causes. Being able to properly explain to someone dog psychology is a gift, and she's got it! It helps solidify why it is important to do train or work on behaviors to help the dog, like teach place. Consistency, patience, and that firmness is what has helped us radically change our two very stubborn goldendoodle behaviors. In only three sessions! They are by no means magically cured, but they have drastically improved since we started working with Brianna. Oh, and the great homework that Brianna provides so that we can continue to work with our dogs in between sessions. We can't wait to keep working with her! Brianna is also very generous with the information and resources she offers. She offers group classes, offers to have her dogs come help train your pups, at home training, virtual training, board and train, an awesome podcast (which really helps put her approach into context and just makes everything "click"), and tons and tons of free resources on her website (including youtube videos, blog posts, tools to use, and access to her awesome podcast). Finally, she also has a youtube page that pulls little videos from other dog trainers that helps to put some of the exercises into practice. Who is more passionate?
