We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Pat! He is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient, and somehow always manages to make us laugh, even when we’re in the middle of a puppy crisis. 😂 From the very first session, it was clear how much he genuinely cares about the dogs and about helping us as their owners. Pat has completely transformed our puppy and our older dog. When we first brought our puppy home, the two of them were not getting along at all. We were constantly walking on eggshells, trying to keep the peace and make sure we were giving both dogs what they needed. Our house felt stressful, and we honestly weren’t sure how things were going to work out. Now, they PLAY together. They are comfortable, happy, and actually enjoy each other and we finally have the calm in our house back. It is truly incredible to see the difference. Every single time Pat leaves our house, I swear it feels like we have brand-new dogs. 😂 Whatever concern or question we have, he addresses it, explains the “why” behind it, gives us practical things to work on, and by the end of the session we are amazed at the progress. He has given us so much confidence as dog owners and has helped us understand our dogs in a completely different way. We can’t thank Pat enough for everything he has done for our family, and we genuinely cannot recommend him enough. He has become so much more than our dog trainer, Pat truly feels like family to us. We are SO grateful we found him!

We had a great experience working with Pat! We originally reached out because we needed help acclimating our older Jack Russell to our new Golden Retriever puppy. We wanted to make sure they could get along and that we were introducing them in the right way. Pat was extremely knowledgeable and patient throughout the process. He not only helped us understand how to manage the relationship between our older dog and puppy, but also helped us with leash training and teaching us how to avoid creating bad habits or reinforcing unwanted behaviors. One of the things we appreciated most about Pat was how much he educated us as owners. He took the time to explain why our dogs were behaving certain ways and what we should—and shouldn’t—do in different situations. His advice gave us a much better understanding of our dogs and made us feel much more confident handling them. We’re incredibly thankful for all of Pat’s help, guidance, and patience. What started as simply wanting help introducing our puppy to our older dog turned into learning so much more about how to properly train and communicate with both of them. We’re very happy with the progress we’ve made and truly appreciate everything Pat has done for us and our dogs. Pat has been an amazing mentor as we navigated the adolescence stage with our mini Dachshund as first time dog parents. He is honest, professional, knowledgeable, and humorous which we appreciated greatly. We attended all of the group puppy classes at larger pet stores and did not see the behavior changes we were looking for until we started sessions with Pat. We loved that he allowed us to bring in other family members who also spend a lot of time with our dog so they could be trained on how to appropriately handle him too. Working with Pat has given us confidence and optimism that we needed as first time dog parents. 10/10 recommend.

So far, I’ve had a great experience working with him. From the very beginning, I really appreciated how he took the time to explain how dogs think it gave me so much clarity in understanding Apollo and how to work with him. One thing that really stands out is that he’s not just training the dog he’s training the owner. He’s been teaching me how to better understand my dog so we can both be successful and actually enjoy the process together. Today was my fourth session, and I’m already seeing real progress, which makes me very happy. Everything he teaches truly works when I follow it consistently. He gives you a solid foundation, but also adapts things to your lifestyle and routine. Instead of you adjusting your life to the dog, he helps you train your dog to adapt to your routine. I also value that he doesn’t romanticize the process he’s honest and realistic about what it takes to train a dog, and that makes all the difference. I highly recommend him without hesitation.
