About Packman to the Rescue, K9 Solutions & Coaching
Pat’s approach to dog rehabilitation focuses primarily on the dog owners. Why? Dogs feed off of the owners energy (emotional state) as their primary method of understanding, respecting and trusting humans.
If a dog senses any kind of emotional instability (such as nervousness, anxiety, frustration, anger, etc.), they will assume that you are weak and not in control of the situation. Therefore, the dog will not trust or follow you and will assert itself to become the pack leader.
Pat can recognize a person’s energy and body language and therefore he provides guidance on how to adjust thoughts, feelings and behaviors in order to become an effective leader. He also provides recommendations and adjustments for daily rituals along with the kno

We contacted Pat 4 years ago when we were having trouble with our dogs’ behaviors. We have a pack of 6 pups. We especially were having trouble our Boxer mix. We had gone to 2 trainers before meeting Pat with no improvements at all with our Boxer mix. I was afraid to walk with him because he could out power me and is often set off by other small animals and other dogs. Our Jack Russell Lab mix also has a lot of energy and is tough to handle on walks because she also gets set off by other small animals and other dogs. We were also having issues with our Shih Tzu not getting Along well with our Boxer Mix. He couldn’t stand to be in the same room with him and would constantly growl at him. We consistently saw Pat every week for about a year and we saw significant improvements with all of them. Our Boxer mix and Jack Russell Lab mix were reacting less on walks and our Shih Tzu no longer growled at our Boxer Mix. It has been almost 2 years since we have seen Pat because we have not had the time to dedicate to do our sessions, but we have not lost anything he has taught us. My goal has been to walk all 6 of our dogs together. I was afraid to walk our Boxer Mix and Jack Russell Lab Mix together because of their energy. But not only have I done that a handful of times, I have been able to even add one of my other rambunctious smaller dogs on a walk. I wouldn’t be able to do this without everything I learned from Pat. If you need someone who is patient and will offer your the right guidance, I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

Look no further, Pat is the guy you need. He has taught me numerous different ways to change my behavior when training my dog. Everything he does is for a reason, and it works!!! If I could, I would give him 10 stars.
