Padded Paws

I am a dog mom who was in much need of some help for my rambunctious dog named Emmitt. He is a year and 7 mth old Cavapoo mix with behavioral issues and separation and social anxiety. Taking him for walks around other people and pets and to grooming and vet appointments was extremely challenging. It left us both feeling stressed. I tried my best to rectify his behavior with online tools and videos but nothing helped. So I turned to Danny after finding his business online. I choose to do the board and train which I felt would’ve benefited him more. To say he did an amazing job is an understatement. I got back a dog that is much more relaxed, attentive and follows commands really well. Danny kept me updated with videos and texts showing his progress. I was surprised seeing him mingle with dogs of all sizes and cats! Danny also took him to pet friendly places and he did so well, I couldn’t believe it. Not only did my dog get trained, I also got trained on how to be a better leader and how to maintain everything he has learned. I am so appreciative of what Danny has done. It makes me happy seeing my dog more at ease, sociable and confident in himself as well as myself. The hardest part of the training was having to be away from my dog but he was in great hands. I had complete trust in his program. I will continue to use his services when needed and I will forever be thankful for the peace he gave my dog and my household. If you are considering training your dog, I highly recommend his services.

I cannot say enough good things about Danny at Padded Paws. He helped us with Mala (a pit bull 1 yr old rescue), when we were really struggling with getting a new dog with timid and anxious behaviors. He helped us with basic commands and individual training at first and after seeing how well she responded to him with those, we invested with his board and train. All I can say is WOW! What a different dog we have now. Her ability to stay focused and responsive to our commands has drastically improved. If you are looking for someone who can relate to your concerns and that listens to you… he is your guy.

Danny truly surpassed our expectations with helping train our German Shepard/Blue Heeler mix puppy. We adopted Bruno at five months and within a few weeks, he had taken over our home and was showing aggressive tendencies when being told, “No”. Bruno was only getting stronger and play-biting was becoming a huge issue. He protested getting in his crate every time and we could not have visitors over. I was worried we had made a terrible mistake introducing this intense puppy to our family. We considered rehoming him, but decided to invest in a proper training program. During our initial consultation, Danny took the time to get to know our family and situation with our unruly puppy. He taught us how to set rules and boundaries and provided the tools and language we needed to communicate with our dog. We saw instant improvements after only a couple sessions. Over the course of six or seven weeks, we witnessed a majestic German Shepherd emerge who could now be taken to public spaces. Now, Bruno loves his crate and knows basic obedience commands. Danny also worked with Bruno to help desensitize him to various triggers (doorbells, other dogs, loud sounds). Bruno’s training ended with taking him to a shopping center and entering some stores to simulate a shopping experience. Bruno did amazing and we couldn’t have done it without Danny’s expertise! We’ve since continued working with Bruno and now enjoy taking him anywhere dogs are allowed. We are so grateful to have found Danny and will forever highly recommend his dog-training services.
