We couldn't love Palmetto State K9 more! Emily is amazing and truly brought peace to our home! She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and supportive not only in training our dog, but in teaching us too! She sent us daily updates with pictures, videos, and a detailed explanation of what Lucy was learning and why! We now have the tools, understanding, and confidence to keep up with Lucy's training. It was obvious how much she genuinely invested in our dog's success and our family's experience! We are beyond grateful for Emily & Katelynn and highly recommend Palmetto State K9 to anyone looking for a trainer who genuinely cares about dogs and their families!

Our family adopted a hound mix pup who was full of energy and strength… due to some time constraints we were able to drop him off with Katelynn @ Palmetto State K9 for a 7 day board & train and picked up a whole new dog! Before he would constantly pull on leash and jump on people and other dogs we would meet while walking. He liked to play but as he grew older (11.5 months ) and gained 70+ lbs he became too much for my younger kids. He was also very velcro to me, had to follow me everywhere would not “stay” if I left his sight. When we picked him up we walked through Lowe’s and even my kids were able to hold his leash. He is such a dream now and can walk respectfully and with a loose leash. We have continued working and he can stay in place for extended periods of time and we can even have him in place in our front yard knowing he won’t bolt. Katelynn sent daily photo and video updates which showed he was having a great time in her care and part of the pack!! We have been able to have more fun with him now that he is better behaved than we would have never dreamed of before! She really delivered everything we asked for and more. We live out of state and would make the drive again to further his training! 10/10 recommend taking your pup to Palmetto State K9!!

Murph!! 18 month old Aussiedoodle. Full of energy but not a fan of people and not a fan of listening. Honestly thought training would be a waste of time and money BUT Emily was awesome!!! Her patience with Murph and ability to get him comfortable around people and to come when called, along with other commands, was unbelievable. He is now a pleasure to be around, listens and obeys on command and surprises me daily with all he has learned. I highly recommend Emily and all the knowledge she has to help you with your fur baby. Money well spent!!
