Palmetto State K9 Training

Katelynn is amazing! She trained our goldendoodle, Rudy two years ago and now she just finished training our sheepadoodle, Ozzy. I would not trust our dogs to anyone else. The results are undeniable. It is a pleasure to take our pups in public and be proud of their behavior. It is something to master walking two dogs on one arm without pulling and Katelyn has taught all three of us how to have a relaxed and enjoyable walk. Would highly recommend her!

Emily worked wonders with my boys! They have never exactly loved each other, but cohabited peacefully (outside of a few spats) for the first year after I brought home my second dog. Early this year they started having regular fights and I had gotten to the point of having to completely separate them at all times because even just seeing each other through crates in passing they wanted to attack each other. On top of that, they were both a hot mess with manners and only listened to me when it pleased them. Copper did a board and train and came home a completely different dog- he’s enjoyable to go in public with and take on walks now because he’s not walking ME. He actually listens to commands and we have a much better bond because he finds value in pleasing me now. Finley is halfway through his 1 on 1 lessons and although his training has been less intensive than his brother, he has come SO far and I feel like I’ve gotten the best of both worlds by learning how to keep up with what they both have been learning. My boys still don’t love each other, but their behavior is now much more manageable. I am able to come home and enjoy them rather than constantly be trying to break up fights or listen to them bark at each other. I am so thankful for help we received and would absolutely recommend them!

I truly cannot say enough positive things about Katelynn and Palmetto State K9 Training! My German Shepard, Dakota, is a nervous nelly and incredibly strong. This made walking her incredibly difficult for me. I sent Dakota to the 2 week board and train program and I got back a better version of Dakota. She understands what she can and can't do and more importantly I know how to help her. Katelynn has graciously answered every one of my questions and is incredibly fun to work with! I recommend that every dog owner send their dog to Palmetto State K9!

It’s hard to encompass all that Kate did to help us and our pup. After our 1 year old ACD was attacked, she was so nervous to go out and about again, with both strange dogs and humans. We sought out training, and thank God for Kate! Kate gave us the tools to advocate for our dog & set healthy boundaries, while also giving our dog & us the confidence to enter into unfamiliar situations in the safest manner possible. I am so incredibly thankful for Kate at Palmetto State K9 Training. The world has opened up for us and our pup thanks to the fundamentals we were given through this training program and genuine dedication from our Trainer, Kate. We are forever thankful!

I cannot speak highly enough about Katelynn and Palmetto State K9! Our boy, Rip, just completed his two week training and we could not be more impressed and pleased. Katelynn is warm and loving with the dogs and is so knowledgeable and educational to empower us to continue all the incredible work she’s done.
