Very Satisfied with phone consult! I reached out to Paragon Retrievers & Gun Dogs for assistance with training for my older, non-gun dog. Dawn was able to provide wonderful advice and guidance as to how to train some of the skills wanted my dog to learn. It was easy to understand and to implement the recommendations based on the information given. Consistency was on me for the follow through with the training. The phone consult made it very easy to carry over the recommendations. Within a few days of consistency and focus on skills based on information and tips received from Dawn, my dog demonstrated marked improvement. As I continued to be consist, my dog has managed to hold onto the desired skills that wanted when originally called for assistance. Highly recommend phone consult as they were willing to tailor the session to my needs and my dog’s needs.

They met all the criteria we wanted for genetically sound and well rounded breeder. Preacher has been a breeze to work starting from the time we brought him home at 8 weeks old. Whether you’re looking for a pup, started, or finished dog we highly recommend their program.

As an avid waterfowl hunter, and veteran, having a well balanced hunting dog is super important. My dog, Vinci, from Paragon Retrievers and Gun Dogs is exactly what I was looking for. Kris has been a great resource for training from day one. Vinci will be 4 in August and I can still call Kris or Dawn with training, health and dog food questions for advice. I’ve also had the opportunity to train with them while they trained their dogs, and they give great feedback and pointers on things I need to improve to make my trainings more effective. Kris and Dawn are my go to resource for all things dog!

My wife and I purchased our first Lab from Kris and Dawn at Paragon Retrievers almost a year ago now and couldn't be happier with our pup Winston! Dawn was exceptionally patient and informative as she worked with us for a little over a year to help us pick out our perfect pup. Additionally, they have a puppy program that is bar none to preparing their puppies for their forever homes. Winston is my first gun that I will be hunting with. Both Dawn and Kris have been a wealth of knowledge for training tips and have been very responsive any time I have questions! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for the next Lab!
