Parker's K9 Academy

Parker is a genuine dog lover. He takes incredible care of his own dog and loves other dogs just like he loves his own. We brought Tugg to Parker around 7 months of age for a board and train. Tugg had little patience, discipline, and liked to pull on the leash to meet friends. He was still a good dog just needed some direction. Parker was able to tune him up pretty quickly and easily. His technique is efficient and is easy to continue using at home when training is over. Can’t say enough about our experience with him.

We completed boarding and training with Parker for our poodle Maxx when he was a puppy, prior to this he did not know how to walk properly on a leash and we were having trouble settling him down after he got excited. Parker was able to successfully help us with Maxx in all his trouble areas. Now when we are outside (for example at the park), we can fully trust his recall skills when offleash. After concluding the training, Parker was always available for any questions or concerns we had and offered helpful advice. 10/10 we would absolutely recommend his services for anyone looking to train their dog!

When Fenway was a pup, a year ago, I took Fenway for training with Parker. I continue to reap the benefits of that 2 week session! Immediately we could go for the most pleasant walks with him walking nicely by my side. He will go to his “place” and stay there while I cook. People constantly marvel at how calm and well behaved he is, not believing he could really be a puppy. Not only did Parker train Fenway, he taught me how to work with him, how to reinforce the training, answering questions even after the session. I am always recommending Parker for dog training

We sent Atlas to Parker’s board and train program a few years ago, and he went above and beyond to help train him and meet our goals. It’s now been three years since Atlas completed his training, and we still see the lasting impact of Parker’s work. Whenever we go out of town, we trust Parker for boarding, and Atlas always gets a great refresher while he’s there. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing Atlas is in such capable hands. We highly recommend Parker to anyone looking for top-notch training and care for their dog!

We took our Cavapoo, Andi, to stay with Parker for 2 weeks when she was 10 months old. This was, hands down, the best training we could have invested in. Parker taught Andi how to walk so calmly on a leash, how to recall off leash and how to stay on her “place” until released (which comes in so handy while cooking and eating in the kitchen). These are things I would have struggled to d on my own. Parker even worked with me several weeks later to make sure I was enforcing the training correctly or had any questions. He genuinely cared for Andi as if she were his and I knew this because of how excited she was to see him! We were so fortunate and grateful to have been recommended to Parker’s K9 Academy years ago and will continue to recommend his services!
