Parker's K9 Academy

Parker was great! We have a senior lab that has had bad habits for a while and needed some training on begging, walking, etc. We sent our dog to him for the two week board & train and she came back very well behaved. Throughout the entire time Parker sent pictures and videos of our girl which made us happy seeing her progress while she was away! After the experience, he spent a 1-2 hours with us going over everything he taught her and how we need to operate with her going forward. It’s been a week since we got her back, and so far, she’s been great!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Parker. From the very beginning, we felt completely confident leaving Maggie in his care. It was so clear how much he genuinely loves and understands dogs, and the way he worked with Maggie was incredible to watch. She came home happier, more confident, calmer, and so well trained — but still completely herself, which meant so much to us. One of the things we appreciated most was how easy he made the transition back home. We were honestly nervous about maintaining everything after training, but he took so much time to walk us through everything and made sure we felt prepared and supported. He explained things in such a simple, encouraging way and gave us so much confidence as dog owners. It never felt overwhelming, and he was always patient and willing to answer every question we had. What really stood out to us was how kind and personable he was with our entire family. Parker was absolutely amazing with our kids. They immediately felt comfortable around him, and he made them feel included in the process, which was so special. You can tell he truly cares not only about the dogs, but also about the families they belong to. Maggie absolutely adored him, and that says everything. The bond and trust he built with her was so obvious. We are beyond grateful for the time, care, patience, and dedication he put into helping our family. The results exceeded every expectation we had. If you are considering training for your dog, we wholeheartedly recommend him. This was one of the best decisions we could have made for Maggie and our family. Thank you Parker!

Parker is gifted with all dogs and has quite a special connection with them. . Our Aussidoodle Maverick likes to be in control but with Parker he has learned to respect, Listen and obey. He taught me the tools to carry on these expectations at home. His boot camp training was transformative. He has continued to board and train Maverick as he transforms him into a therapy dog in my practice. Thanks Parker!!!

We took our dog “Millie” to Parker’s K9 Academy for his two-week training and boarding program. A friend had highly recommended Parker to us. Millie was full of energy and anxiety and needed help with leash walking, coming to us when called, and to learn to return and drop her ball after throwing it to her. We were so afraid to leave her for two weeks, and especially to someone who we did not really know. Parker put us at ease the moment we got to his house. You could tell how much he loved dogs and how much they loved him! He sent me pictures and texts every single day! He even called so we could face time to see her progress in action. She learned to leash walk without distractions on a busy road, a bustling store front, and along the waterfront (she LOVES the water). She chased after her ball and returned it, and dropped it on command, although she hated giving up her ball!! She learned to “place” for time out and rest on her elevated dog beg, and to come when called. She also loved the playtime with the other dogs. The e-collar worked wonders, but it was Parker who worked patiently with her. He also trained us on the use of the collar. We will definitely board Millie with Parker again; she'll be eager to see him and show off her sweet smile, hoping to also get a belly rub. Thank you Parker!!
