Partnering Paws

Ashley is just amazing. We adopted our rescue Bob who is a hound mix back in February. He's a very good boy but we were worried there was some clashing between him and one of our 3 Labrador retrievers Remi (she is very alphaish) and we just wanted to give Bob the best life and home that he deserves. Bob at the time was still a pup at only 6 months old. I reached out to Ashley who gave me some tips to stimulate Bob's mind through his nose since he is a hound and she was able to squeeze us in for a meet and greet with all 4 of our dogs very quickly. I was blown away by how she could tell me the personalities and quirks of our dogs after just meeting them for a few minutes. Needless to say she is the absolute best. Not long after our meet and greet we got right to work and Bob has learned so many essential skills from leash etiquette to recall etc. and has really become the best boy he possibly can be. She also provided us with numerous things to help occupy and stimulate the minds of all 4 of our dogs which really made Bob's transition into becoming a tight knit member of the pack a breeze. I can't thank her enough for all that she's done for us and I would highly recommend her to anyone we know who is in need of a professional dog trainer.

Ashley has been amazing to work with since the day I contacted her. She met with us and asked exactly what we were looking for and made a plan tailored to our dog’s needs. Ashley has so much patience and knowledge of dog’s behavior. She always wants to make sure my dogs feel comfortable with training using positive reinforcement. Ashley has helped me to have a better relationship with my dogs by teaching me to offer them more enrichment in their lives.

As her sister I have benefited from Ashley's knowledge even though I don't have a dog. I have two cats and her thoughtful way of interacting with animals and approaching their problems from a pet first lens has enriched my cats lives immensely. I now use slow feeders and interactive snack dispensers to curb boredom behavior, I've learned how to use play as way to bond with my cats and I've learned how to manage one of my cats anxiety around travel and visitors with respect to his needs (making all interactions much less troublesome for all involved!). This has been huge as anxiety can trigger urinary crystals in him. To say she's the cat aunt of the year is an understatement. I'm biased, but I think anyone who has interacted with her would confirm that she is one in a million. She practices what she preaches, she is consistently staying up to date with the evolution of the field and she's humble enough to say when she doesn't know or when you should consult another expert. You cannot go wrong with hiring her.
