Passion Four Paws

Excellent facility and wonderful, caring staff. Our GSD keeps up with his training while there, loves the walks and loves playtime in the pool! Always thoroughly exhausted when he comes home. They have "nap time" early in the afternoon and it amazes me that they all settle in and settle down. That tells me they have an active and engaging morning, and that's what they are at daycare for. Aimee is very knowledgable and attentive to all of the dog's needs. Love that P4P fosters some pups while they are looking for their forever homes, too. Can't go wrong here.....

I've taken my St. Bernard here a few times for daycare. She seemed to enjoy it and the employees were always nice and friendly. I really appreciate that they walk the dogs, post pictures of the dogs and separate them as needed for resting. There was one incident where I had paid for a dog bath and when I picked up, she was in a kennel soaked. I was upset but shook it off and realized there was either a miscommunication about what the bath meant or that my expectations were too high. I recently took my dog here last week for the day. I told the morning worker that I would be picking her up around 2:00 PM that afternoon as I had plans that evening and got off work early. When I arrived to the facility at 2:00 PM, there was nobody there. All the dogs were inside with the lights off and there was nobody answering the door. I waited a few minutes and then knocked again. At this point, I realized there wasn't anyone here at all. I walked around to the front of the house and noticed there wasn't any cars in the driveway. I had called the office number and texted the emergency phone number and heard nothing. I kept peaking inside to see if someone just didn't hear me but the dogs started to bark a lot and I didn't want to make them fearful. I was terrified, anxious and very angry. At 2:40 PM after waiting FORTY MINUTES, I got a call from the owner saying there was a mistake in the schedule. She told me something along the lines of the morning employee had to leave and the second employee wasn't coming in until 3:00 and she was away for a training session. She did apologize and offered not to charge me for that day but I was beyond upset with this experience. Not only should there be more than ONE employee working at the daycare when 20-30+ dogs are there but there shouldn't EVER be a time where the dogs are unsupervised. Some of the dogs weren't even in kennels and nobody was there in case of an emergency or situation. When I started attending this daycare, I knew of the "napping" hour but I had no idea it meant there was times the dogs were unsupervised and left entirely alone. I don't write this to be hateful at all. I know I'm a "high maintenance" customer when it comes to my dog because she's my world. I read so many reviews about this daycare and other daycare's in Columbus and truly thought this was my best choice. I hope this review is informative to anyone thinking of trying this facility out.
