Pat's Pack Dog Training

Pat is a DOG WHISPERER!!! I have an adorable (but very rambunctious/spunky) mixed breed puppy and adopted her by myself. She wasn't fully potty trained, she chewed everything, and I couldn't even leave her in the crate so that I could leave my house without her howling/barking nonstop (for hours...) One day I sat trying to work from home as she ran amuck in my house and wondered what I had gotten myself into, and a friend referred me to Pat. He was able to come to my house for an in person session two days later, and was able to immediately get her in the crate, quietly, while we chatted through everything else. From there on out, she was crate training no problem. I decided to send her to Pat's board & train for 2 weeks, and she is a brand new dog. She is so good on her leash, she is so much more obedient in the house, she is essentially fully crate trained, and I know all of the tools to maintain her training at home on my own. I am going to be sending her to his enrichment program while I am traveling next month, and I couldn't be more excited to see what else she learns! Would HIGHLY recommend to all fur parents!!! Pat is the BEST!

Pat rules! My dog Banjo was a feral creature of dubious origin that seemed to be programmed to do nothing but make my life frustrating. He would sprint after all other dogs and in general be a real horses behind when on a leash. PLUS he was destructive to almost anything in my house. I was to the point of re-homing him. Then like a light from the heavens, a friend recommended Pat's Pack to me. Pat took my dog and turned him into possibly the best most behaved dog of all time. I'm serious. I actually kind of feel bad that you all can't have my dog (and for the record you can't. He's mine. Get your own dog). Banjo listens well and is just a delight to have in the house now on top of being the envy of all my other dog owning friends. PLUS, when I see unruly dogs in the park, I get to be the judgey one now! They don't have to know that my dog was an ogre I couldn't control just 3 weeks ago, they just need to get their own dog set right gosh darn it. If you have a dog that stinks and/or blows, I'd highly recommend reaching out to Pat. He'll set your dog straight in a loving way and also give you the tools of success to KEEP your dog on the path of the good boy/girl. Pictured below is my boy graduating. Note: I provided the graduation outfit in the photo. Pat does not keep them on hand. If I see a one star from one of you saying "Pat was ok. Didn't provide cap and gown" I'll feel personally responsible. Don't be that person. Pat doesn't deserve it.

If this could be a six star review it would! We originally came to Pat with our six month old French bulldog Harry for pulling on the leash and being overly excited towards other dogs on walks. He was and is still a puppy, but we wanted to start working on these behaviors early before they escalated. We did one on one training over six sessions and I feel like we have a completely different dog than when we started in the best way possible. Not only does Pat help train your dog but he gives you all of the tools to be able to do it yourself. He was so responsive to my many questions over text throughout the weeks. I was hoping to come out of the six sessions with a dog that heels and listens on the leash and I got so much more. Harry is able to be off leash when appropriate, we’ve refined his obedience and even worked on some fun stuff. Not only is Harry’s progress a testament to how knowledgeable and skilled Pat is, but I had so much fun doing it. I feel like my bond with my dog is even stronger than before, and I can’t wait to keep working and see Harry’s progress as he grows into an adult dog! We are so grateful to have found Pat!! Look no further you’ve found the best trainer out there!

From the very beginning, it was clear that Patrick is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in his approach, and he genuinely cares about setting both dogs and their families up for long-term success. Patrick worked closely with our 1-year-old Black Dutch Shepherd, Shadow, building on the basic commands and reinforcing them into reliable, well-enforced behaviors. Thanks to Patrick’s guidance, Shadow is now able—when appropriate—to be off leash with excellent recall, which has been a game changer for our daily routines and outings. Beyond obedience, we truly feel that our bond with Shadow has been strengthened through clearer communication, trust, and consistency. We have been approached by other dog parents on numerous occasions who have commented on how confidently and obediently Shadow carries himself. Many have asked who we trained with and what options were available, which speaks volumes about the quality and effectiveness of Patrick’s work. No matter the breed, we have full confidence that Patrick will impress time and time again. We are incredibly grateful for his expertise, patience, and professionalism, and would highly recommend Pat’s Pack to anyone looking for a trainer who truly invests in both the dog and the family.

Pat is an exceptional trainer and we are so glad we found him. He was generous with his time even before we brought our pup home and continued to offer thoughtful guidance every step of the way.
