Patrick Canine Training

Unlike the other reviews, we did not have a great experience with boarding our dog at Patrick Canine. We actually had a horrific experience. The kennel we used to board our dog has unfortunately closed and as I was searching for a new boarding place, Patrick Canine came with amazing reviews. This place sounded promising and I assumed things were going well while we were away for 2 weeks on an international trip. We had someone call to check in on our dog a couple days into our trip and Patrick Canine said everything was going well, no issues. It was not until we returned home and noticed that our dog's teeth were so terribly chipped and broken, that we could see the nerve ends showing and he was in terrible pain. We took him to the vet who had his previous dental xrays and indeed these teeth were not broken before. Our poor dog has to get 4 teeth pulled (2 main canine teeth and 2 bottom incisors). When we called Patrick Canine to ask what might have happened they pretended not to know anything about the incident. It seems quite shocking that no one noticed anything when he has to have 4 teeth completely pulled (not even capped) due to the major damage of the teeth. $4,000 later, I wish we NEVER boarded our dog with Patrick Canine. I would definitely NOT recommend leaving your dog with Patrick Canine for boarding. I can't speak to their training but I had a terrible experience with the boarding portion of their business.

We have been using this place for many, many years and have nothing but praise for them. We have gotten several Great Pyrs from here, we have used them to train our dogs and we use them for boarding our dog when we travel. Our dog enjoys her time here because she gets to play with the other dogs and most importantly, she is loved and well cared for. We miss her dearly when we travel, but we know she is in good hands, which really helps when we kiss her goodbye. We highly recommend Patrick Canine, and we dont mind the 2 1/2 hr drive,each way, when we need to board her.
