Pavlov Dog Training - Arvada

We have 2 young children and decided we needed help with dog training. Our 8yo dog did Board and Train with Corin for 2 weeks. We talked in advance to discuss goals. We primarily wanted him to master "place" and "come" commands. I was skeptical it would work because he's a very stubborn dog, and 8 years old. Corin worked her magic - he's a master now! She also taught him other great behaviors (heel, door etiquette, etc). Corin had great communication during the board and train, and was also very helpful as our dog transitioned home. Her home visits were great reinforcements as well. The training is expensive, but it seems to be in line with other training programs. And for us, it was worth the cost!

We cannot say enough great things about Corin. We brought our 8-month-old, hyper-active golden retriever, Sunny, to her because leash walks had become completely unmanageable. He pulled wildly on the leash, lunged when he saw other dogs or rabbits, and had gotten so strong that my fiancé couldn’t walk him anymore. While Sunny had the basic commands down, we clearly needed help with real behavior correction. Corin completely transformed our experience. She corrected his poor leash etiquette, and now he is amazing to walk. He is more calm, focused, and responsive. He’s also able to sit calmly on his dog bed on command until released, which felt impossible before. He still has the same amazing personality, we just now have the tools to channel that energy in a productive way instead of biting, pulling, or trying to sprint down the street. We loved that Sunny stayed with Corin in her home, where he could practice what he was learning in a real-life environment rather than a training setting. The coaching sessions with Corin after the boarding were incredibly valuable and everything truly clicked for us, and we left feeling confident and empowered as dog parents. If you’re on the fence, do it. It is so worth it and makes both your life and your pup’s life infinitely more enjoyable. We would recommend Corin to anyone without hesitation, she’s truly amazing.

Corin is an AMAZING dog trainer! My partner and I have worked with her for a while now and she is super accommodating with pick up and drop offs and does an excellent job with training our rambunctious dogs :) I’ve done personal lessons with her as well as I’m newer to the dog game and the tips and tricks she taught me really worked well with our vizsla! We also recently got a puppy and right after we dropped her off for obedience training, she had diarrhea and Corin kindly took her to the vet and gave her her prescribed medications until I got back in town and picked her up. She is the best and would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a trainer!
