Pavlov Dog Training - Denver

Our trainer Jada is an angel who worked a miracle with our ill-mannered rescue goldendoodle who at nearly 1.5 years old and 60lbs was mouthy, jumpy and could not maintain focus on a leash and or exercise impulse control. He was an absolute handful and I wasn't sure what to do! So I turned to PavLovDog. We met Jada during our dog's drop-off for his board and train. Jada took time to review our goals and together we determined that our dog should complete the three week program which includes an e-collar. Our dog has now graduated from the program and I am so grateful that Jada took time at drop-off to review our goals and match us with the right program. She taught him all of his commands and even two bonus commands! More importantly, she made sure that she handed-off his training to us in several different ways. First each week we received training videos of our dog successfully completing the new skills and tips for us to replicate the skills at home. Then just before pick-up we received additional videos to displaying the skills and the actions of the handler. We also received written cues for each skills as a cheat sheet. At pick-up she practiced the skills with me and challenged my dog throughout the hand-off to ensure that I was comfortable not only with the skill but also with applying the proper correction. After pick-up, Jada has continued to provide support and showed flexibility in coming to our home to further help us implement his training and his e-collar. I was terrified about riding the elevator with our dog and she made the experience a breeze. We have taken our dog on hikes and greenways with a lot of distractions and he has quickly been noticed by hikers, mountain bikers and other elevator riders as obedient and well-mannered. He now also does great socializing with other dogs, something that I know he learned under the watchful eye of his trainers at PavLogDog. It feels great to have a dog that attracts so many compliments from others! Huge thank you to Jada and the entire team at PavLogDog!

Our 18 mo old Golden Retriever is a new and improved version of herself after 2 weeks with Quinn. Generalization sessions (3) have been invaluable. Had previously trained 8 Goldens but this very powerful and strong willed girl exceeded my ability. We happily go on sniff walks and focused heel walks, have friends over, and our bond is wonderful to experience. Not an overstatement to say this was life changing for everyone in the household.

JUST LET THEM TAKE YOUR MONEY! Our little Petunia did a 3 weeks behavior board and train. She’s a completely different dog. She doesn’t pull on the leash anymore. She stays calm around other dogs. She doesn’t beg for food and lays under our table nicely when we’re out at dinner. Essentially, ALL of the issues that we wanted addressed were resolved. Because of her size (15 lbs), she was able to stay with her trainer (Virginia) at her home. I love that Petunia wasn’t in a crate at some sterile warehouse, and that she was allowed to have play time with other dogs. She made a BFF there, another small fluffy cutie. They were so adorable when they were playing and training together. We also loved the 3 follow up training sessions. Virginia wasn’t only a dog whisperer, but she was a human whisperer as well. We got really clear instructions and were able to learn on how to apply the commands correctly and quickly. Seriously, we can’t recommend Pavlov enough, but particularly, can’t recommend Virginia enough. We’re obsessed and will definitely take advantage of boarding and other training opportunities through Pavlov.

Wyatt and I had such an excellent experience training with Madalyn at Pavlov Dog Training! He spent 2 weeks at the board and train and came out with such good manners now. I am so lucky that I found Pavlov dog. Great place, great people and awesome training. Madalyn is wonderful and so patient, she helped me to build onto what Wyatt has already learned and keep him growing and learning good habits!

We had a great experience with Pavlov Dog Training and Virginia. The difference in our dog after just a few weeks was incredible. She’s much calmer, more obedient, and extremely well behaved in public now. Virginia is amazing with dogs and clearly knows how to get results. We’ve been so happy with the training that we continue to use Pavlov for boarding and reinforcement. Definitely worth the money and highly recommend them!
