Pavlov Dog Training - Denver

This has been such a great experience. Leaving Stella for three weeks was really difficult, but seeing the results of her training at Pavlov made it completely worth it. Stella came to Pavlov with plenty of puppy energy and some pretty poor leash manners. Her trainer, Logan, was incredible and built such a strong bond with her. When we picked Stella up, we could immediately tell that her behavior on walks had done a complete 180. She no longer pulls or lunges at other dogs. She’s still curious about them, of course, but she now has much more respectful and appropriate manners. One of my biggest concerns was that Stella would come home feeling like a different dog with a completely different personality. Thankfully, that couldn’t be further from the truth. She’s still the same happy, goofy Stella we love—just calmer, more confident, and much better behaved. My confidence in Pavlov grew even more when we used their Boarding with Benefits program while we were away on a trip. When I dropped Stella off, she was so excited to be there and see all of the trainers. It’s incredibly reassuring to know that when we need to leave her somewhere, she’s in a place where her training is reinforced, she has structure, and she gets to have fun. I would highly recommend Pavlov to anyone who is on the fence about training. They have an incredible team, and it’s clear that they genuinely care about the dogs and the relationships they build with them. We will absolutely continue recommending Pavlov to others, and we can’t wait to participate in the lifelong Sunday group walks to keep Stella’s training going. We recently took our German Shepherd, Koda, to Pavlov for their 3-week board-and-train program. Our primary goals were to help Koda stay calm during transitions, improve her socialization with other dogs, and reduce her reactivity toward dogs and people on walks. We were paired with Quinn for an in-home board-and-train, and we truly couldn’t be happier with the experience. Before training, Koda was very excited during transitions—barking, pulling, and charging through doors. With Quinn’s training and the techniques she taught us, Koda is now so much calmer. She no longer barks during transitions or bull-rushes us at the door, and she is noticeably calmer on walks. One of the things we appreciated most about Quinn was how much she taught us, not just Koda. She showed us how to read Koda’s body language and recognize signs in other dogs so we can anticipate and prevent reactions before they start. Her knowledge of German Shepherds was incredibly helpful in helping us better understand Koda, her instincts, and how to manage her successfully. Quinn is clearly passionate about the breed and her work, and it really shows. We are so grateful for everything she did for Koda and for us, and we feel much more confident continuing her training at home. I would highly recommend Quinn to other German Shepherd owners, but honestly, I would trust her with any breed. She is knowledgeable, patient, passionate, and truly cares about the dogs she works with. We couldn’t be happier with the results!

We had such an amazing experience with Pavlov’s Board & Train program, especially with Logan. We brought in our 11-month-old Great Dane, and the difference from before to after is truly night and day. Having a giant breed puppy comes with its own set of challenges, and Logan’s attention to detail, patience, and understanding of how to work with a dog his size made us feel completely confident throughout the entire process. The communication was incredible. We received detailed updates throughout his stay and always knew exactly what they were working on, how he was progressing, and what we could expect when he came home. What I appreciated most was that it never felt like a one-size-fits-all training program. Logan really took the time to understand our dog, his personality, and the specific behaviors we needed help with. He came home noticeably calmer, more responsive, and so much easier to manage, while still being the same goofy puppy we love. I cannot say enough good things about Logan and the team at Pavlov. The results have been night and day, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely recommend them, especially to anyone with a large or giant breed dog!
