Pavlov Dog Training - Fort Collins

Highly recommend Pavlog and Chelsea! We started with Pavlog puppy preschool program, then did the board and train for Luce, our golden retriever with Chelsea. Our golden retriever is a very reactive pup, and after two weeks with Chelsea, he's a different dog. He learned to stay in place, listen on the leash, and heel. Most importantly, he's much calmer around other dogs and out in public. Chelsea is so good with dogs. She's patient with them (and with us), and she's firm but loving. Luce adores her and gets so excited whenever he's around her. We're in Denver and the drive was totally worth it. If you're thinking about signing up your pup, do it!

Chelsea is an amazing trainer; first our dog and now us. All of her skills show as we walk in the park and have real life dog reactions happening in front of us. Chelsea is very comfortable with all the tools and training tactics. Every situation our dog Tundra would throw at her way Chelsea jumped to action handling Tundra with confidence and calm composure! Chelsea would even bring her own dogs to our trainings and they are all taught with the same or similar commands. Pavlov was a great choice and we wouldn’t have gone any other way if we had to do it again.

Working with Chelsea is a dream come true for our sweet English lab Sula! Before doing the 2-week board & train, Sula wouldn't walk more than a house or two from home before flopping down in the grass and trying to pull her way back. She was easily startled by passing cars and loud noises - and despite our best efforts, we couldn't help her move through those fears. After her 2 weeks with Chelsea, the transformation has been incredible. She now happily heels and walks enthusiastically around the neighborhood - and dogs barking, cars and other noises that once stopped her in her tracks hardly phase her anymore. She listens so much better, no longer jumps on every person she meets, and has grown in confidence while still keeping her sweet, playful, cuddly puppy personality. She has also learned how to better socialize with other dogs - before her training she could be too overbearing for other dogs. Chelsea helped her develop better manners and confidence - and it's been wonderful to see her interact with other dogs in a more harmonious way. We are so grateful to Chelsea and the Pavlov process for giving Sula such a strong foundation. I would wholeheartedly recommend Chelsea and Pavlov to anyone looking for kind, effective training for their dog!
