Pavlov Dog Training - Fort Collins

Chelsea Perez is a WONDERFUL dog trainer! Her expertise as a dog trainer is evident in how she teaches her human clients how to connect with, train, and build trust with their dogs. From our first session, she taught us how to leash walk with our Pyrenees and enjoy spending time with him much, much more! We see her training clients in our neighborhood and are always amazed at how good she is at her job!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Chelsea, and I truly can’t recommend her enough. She played a huge role in Willow’s leash training journey and helped us work through her reactivity around other dogs while also strengthening her overall obedience and commands. Willow is the kind of dog who would happily greet every dog, child, and person she sees if she could — and Chelsea helped both of us find the right balance. Through her patient, thoughtful approach, Willow learned how to pause, check in, and wait for my command before engaging, instead of reacting out of pure excitement. That alone was a game changer. What really stood out was how much confidence Chelsea gave both me and Willow. Her guidance was encouraging, never overwhelming, and always tailored to Willow’s personality and needs. I feel more confident handling her in real-world situations, and Willow is calmer, more focused, and clearly happier. Chelsea’s care, knowledge, and genuine love for dogs shines through in everything she does. We hosted a large family holiday party with kids running around, food everywhere, music, and lots of noise. My niece brought two dogs with her and parked them in one spot. They stayed there calmly for over an hour. Even when children laid next to them, the dogs remained relaxed and obedient. Seeing that level of training in such a busy, high distraction environment was incredibly impressive. It truly showed that the training works and that the investment is absolutely worth it.
