Select from two training formats: board and train, or private dog training. Are you looking to upgrade your dog’s manners or resolve a behavior issue? We can help!
Private dog training consists of weekly visits from a certified dog trainer. Your dog trainer will assess your dog’s specific learning style, and compose a training program based on your needs. At the end of each training session, you will receive clearly defined homework.
Board and train may be ideal if you prefer to contract out the lion’s share of work to a professional. Your dog will sleep in the cozy home of a Pavlov dog trainer and train throughout the day.

Off Leash Program. Requires a foundation of obedience level 1, if not with Pavlov, then with another dog training company, or the equivalent on your own. Our trainer Ashley was so communicative and knowledgeable. We were pretty nervous about sending our puppy away for two weeks but she answered all our questions (before and during) and we felt comfortable with her immediately (so did our dog- he was obsessed!). She left us with so many helpful and practical tips and you can really tell she loves the animals she trains. We would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants their crazy dog to behave!

Almost five years ago, my wife and I adopted the most adorable 8-week-old Labradoodle we named Sophie. (Pic below). Chelsea at Pavlov Dog helped us with her early training. As with any dog, however, 4-1/2 years later, Sophie needed a refresher course (by that I mean Sophie’s parents needed a refresher course). (Pic below). Enter Virginia at Pavlov Dog. Virginia took in Sophie for a three-week boarding school training to remind Sophie of all the things her parents had forgotten. Amazing results! Virginia was fantastic. Our puppy Benny stayed with Ashley for 2 weeks for a training program and he learned so much! Ashley did a great job teaching him valuable lessons, our favorite of which being how to do structured and unstructured walks on the leash. We can finally go on daily walks with him and take him to dog-friendly public places with us!! She sent over updates with photos or videos while he was staying with her which was a real treat for us to watch his progress from afar.
