Pavlov Dog Training - Portland

Life changing! We boarded our Havapoo with Kylah for three weeks desperate for solutions to change his leash reactivity. He is a very sweet boy, but would lunge at other dogs, cars, people on walks and bark indoors at outside sounds. We hoped for some improvement, but he is like a brand new dog! Walking him is like night and day. He still needs coaching when we see dogs, but we have new tools and skills to help him. We were even able to cancel his doggie day care as we can now work from home without him barking. Kylah is amazing and also there for follow up sessions and questions. We highly recommend Kylah and Pavlov!

I was at my wit’s end after trying training classes and dog trainers, all with different approaches, but they did not help my reactive dog. While researching options, I found Pavlov and started reading all the 5-star reviews, but I did not think Pavlov could genuinely change the inevitable behaviors. My pup Milou was SO leash-reactive. Seeing another dog would make him panic, and being at home hearing any outside barking caused a fit. I didn’t know what to do, so I called Pavlov and met Kylah, and finally, after a year and a half of no success, there was some hope that Kylah could help him. In the three weeks, Milou truly changed into a new dog. He can now walk past dogs without any reactivity, does not bark in the house when he hears outside noises, and can now go to cafes watching people and dogs go by. Thank you times a million to Kylah! She has been so helpful and responsive. Kylah truly changed my pup and my life!!

We had Kylah train our 3 year old Cattle/Collie/Chihuahua mix. Our dog Birdy did the 3 week board and train to work on her aggression with new people and reactivity. Kylah was absolutely amazing, Birdy loved her and loved the training, and Kylah made it so easy for us to pick it all up once we got Birdy back and keep up the training. I would say Birdy is a brand new dog now, but thankfully she still has all spunky personality - she's just a pro at listening, more confident and happier! I never thought I would see the day were Birdy could walk calmly on a leash and not lunge at squirrels or bark at guests in our home. It was a big decision for us to commit to the three week board and train, but I couldn't recommend it more highly, and would definitely do it again with another dog. All in all it was such a positive experience and truly life changing for us and our pup!
