Pavlov Dog Training - Portland

Meredith at Pavlov Dog Training was amazing! We had our Shiba Inu Odin complete a 2 week train & board. Meredith sent us great updates during his training with videos. When his boarding was complete, Meredith was very thorough with our training with Odin. She was always so helpful via text whenever we had questions. She also had 2 follow up trainings in our neighborhood which was wonderful to make sure Odin was well trained in his own environment. Odin from before and after is night and day! We are so grateful for Meredith at Pavlov and highly recommend anyone who wants fantastic and long lasting training for their dogs and themselves!

Kylah was our trainer and she was awesome! Our 1 year old pup, Truman, did board and train for three weeks to help him overcome dog reactivity, jumping on people, not coming when called, leash pulling and overall “bad” manners that were becoming an issue due to his large size (German Shepherd mix). Kylah listened to my concerns, which included my hesitation with using corrective tools in addition to positive reinforcement. With the video updates and with handover training sessions, Kylah showed me how happy Truman was to learn, receive instructions and know what I was asking of him. I learned the appropriate use of praise and correction and Truman is still the happy pup he was at drop off, but with manners! I can go on with how impressed I was with Kylah’s knowledge, patience, and care that she demonstrated. My investment in Truman’s training with Kylah was well spent.
