Welcome to Pavlov Dog Training! We train Portland’s most charming family dogs. Select from two training formats: board and train, or private dog training. Are you looking to upgrade your dog’s manners or resolve a behavior issue? We can help! Private dog training consists of weekly visits from a certified dog trainer. Your dog trainer will assess your dog’s specific learning style, and compose a training program based on your needs. At the end of each training session, you will receive clearly defined homework. Board and train may be ideal if you prefer to contract out the lion’s share of work to a professional. Your dog will sleep in the cozy home of a Pavlov dog trainer and train throughout the day.

Ashley is great, our dog loves her and she was very much cared for and trained.
We have a 4 year old blue heeler named Ravioli and we struggled with leash pulling, leash aggression, and general reactivity. After working with Ashley our dog walks have become so much more calm. Ravioli is able to heel, walks next to other dogs with very little reaction, and is much easier to handle. Cannot recommend this program enough (reactive dog board and train) worth every penny!

Ashley was our trainer and she is so great! You can tell she is highly experienced with all sorts of dogs and doggy issues! I was a little nervous to send our (large!) dog for training, but Ashley was so reassuring and communicative. She's seen it all and really took her time to get to know my dog and her triggers/problem areas, then helped train us on how to approach and manage them. Thanks so much Ashley! We're already so much happier on our walks and I feel like we have the tools now to keep improving.
