What is required for my dog to be accepted to attend dog training ?
All we require is for your dog to be up to date on our required vaccines (Bordetella, Distemper, Rabies and Canine Influenza) and for you to attend a free training evaluation first so our trainers can put together a customized training program for you!

Hazel was very reactionary, I would worry with her around just about anybody, especially men and kids. I feel so confident seeing her around people now, I never thought that would happen.
although I never want to be without her again, my baby has a second home with The Madden's!

If you’re reading this review to consider whether to enroll with Paw by Paw, RUN do not walk and enroll your fur baby ASAP. We rescued our Goldendoodle, Daisy, in late May when she was 18 months old. She was a wild child who had absolutely no training. We originally did 5 private lessons with a trainer who came to our home. Total waste of money. By the end of June, we were desperate. We are experienced dog people but Daisy was a whole other story. Desperate, we reached out to Paw by Paw and enrolled her for 4 weeks of doggy day school. Within 2 days, Jesse assured me she was a fabulous, smart dog and very trainable. I looked at him like he had 3 heads. By the end of the first week, we were seeing significant changes. Walking her was becoming fun, she wasn’t lunging at other dogs, and her true personality was beginning to emerge. She clearly needed structure and boundaries. I cannot say enough good things about Paw by Paw, and especially Jesse Schreck. He saw Daisy’s potential right from the start. By the end of week 4, Daisy was a completely different dog. While she may not be perfect, she is perfect for us. We walk 3-5 miles daily with very few issues, she has mastered place, doesn’t beg for food while we’re eating, and has mastered other commands such as wait, stay, and come. She also listens while off leash in our fenced in backyard. Daisy was a champ staying in place during Paw by Paw’s movie night (with lots of distractions) and we’re about to start group classes and off leash training. Whenever we’re walking into Paw by Paw, her tail is wagging and she’s so happy to see Jesse. I cannot thank Jesse and the entire Paw by Paw team enough!

Johanna answered all of our questions and she always made sure that we understood everything. In every class she was always happy to teach us and shows us what Cookie has been learning. She is the best!
I also want to thanks Madison, Jesse and Alissa for training Cookie during Doggy Day School and for leaving sweet notes in the report card about him. It was always nice to read the report cards everyday.
We will definitely come to the group classes!

Paw by Paw training was an amazing experience! Jesse was our trainer and he did a phenomenal job with our dog. Our dog going in was very reactive and attached and over time, with Jesse’s help and tips, he has been getting so much better! It’s night and day! Definitely recommend this facility for everyone’s puppy and/or dog.
