Happy dogs, delighted dog owner Paw Paw’s Pets has gained an elite status in our household. Rebecca and her staff (shout out to Jordan, Chris, and others) of Paw Paw’s are vital to keeping our two dogs occupied and happy during the week days. Thank you a million times, Rebecca! Both of our dogs love the daycare. They adore the staff and come home “dog”-tired each afternoon from a day of Paw Paw’s canine socialization. Paw Paw’s is not just daycare. Our hound dog puppy, Roscoe, attended obedience school last year at Paw Paw’s. He went from stubborn brat to “good boy” with four weeks of training. Every step of the way, both Rebecca and Jordan gave me live, interactive updates as to the progress of Roscoe’s training. The folks at Paw Paw’s are highly conscientious and well experienced. Then there is salon care. Just last week, my senior dog, Mac, presented with a hot spot on his left flank. After a short text message for my permission, Rebecca had the hot spot shaved and gave Mac a medicated bath. Both Rebecca and Jordan gave regular briefs to the status of the healing of the hot spot. Don’t forget Paw Paw’s Boarding service! It’s seemless. I drop off the food container along with the dogs. The rest of the work is in the hands of the trusted, caring hands of Rebecca and her crew. Vacations are an ease for this dog daddy with the help of Paw Paw’s. Paw Paw’s is top notch: Daycare, obedience training, salon, and boarding. I am a 74 yo retired nurse, who retired in 8/2020. Six months later I adopted a black Standard Poodle named Girly. I had always had dogs growing up and considered myself as knowing something about raising them. Girly was six months old when I adopted her. I proceeded to do all the right things like let her sleep in the bed with me and steal keto bread off the counter without consequences. Needless to say, I became Girly’s littermate instead of leader. It wasn’t long before Girly had the control, and becoming difficult to handle. Since retirement I have developed spinal stenosis and an injured rotator cuff. Trying to teach and handle Girly was becoming more difficult. One month ago Girly and I followed LeighAnne and Sophia, Girly’s Bff who is also a black Standard Poodle, to Pet Paws see if they could be of help to us. I called and Becky quickly returned my call and invited us to Pet Paws for an interview. I felt better immediately after meeting Becky. She assured me they could help Girly and I. I was still skepticism, though, because I had been through two previous trainers, with no change. I enrolled Girly in obedience training. I dropped Girly off the first morning to Becky. I felt like I was taking my first born to first grade. Girly immediately took to Becky, which was unusual for her. Usually she would have barked and growled. When I picked her up that afternoon I met Jordon. These two ladies are outstanding!!! Within days Girly was sitting and walking well on her leash. . Girly then learned down. The past two weeks she has learned to climb on her cot and stay. She goes home at night to her crate and sleeps soundly all night. I would have never thought this would have been possible. Girly has always been afraid of her own shadow and has barked and growled out of fear. Girly now often walks with her tail high and has the confidence she has never had before. The love and kindness that has been shown and given to Girly by Becky and Jordon is remarkable. The skill in training her I have never before witnessed. Becky meets with me to go over what Girly has learned in her classes, so we can work on the skills when she comes home at night. What also amazes me is the way they introduce Girly into the pack. Girly loves to go there everyday! When we pull up she starts crying until she can get with the others. She gets so much exercise which she was not getting at home. They have taught me how to be a leader. I practice my skills at home every night, also. I feel so good when I drop Girly off at Paw Paws. I know she is going to have a great day! I did not think I was going to be able to work this into my budget, but Becky has helped me with that also. No words can ever thank you enough for improving our quality of life and happiness. You are truly a Godsend!

Taking our sweet, but chaotic rescue pup, Hope, to Paw Paws for training was the best investment we could have made for our family. We’re thrilled with the obedience training, but what really sets Paw Paws apart is how much happier Hope is. She’s calmer, more confident, and still the sweet love bug we know and adore. Hope so loved her time with Rebecca, Jordan, and the pack that, once our training time was over, we made the decision to further invest in a Daycare Package. Now, our Chaos Pup looks forward to her days at Paw Paws and comes home exhausted, calm, and happy. We never worry about her safety or wellbeing because the level of care is just excellent. Our experience has been an all-around joy and we’re so pleased with the positive impact Paw Paws has had on our family.
