Paw School

I attended a puppy 1 class this morning. While I was encouraged to book more "to guarantee my spot". I am thankful I didn't. I can't honestly say we did much. The class started with the instructor coming to each puppy and then throwing treats on the ground. If your dog doesn't jump expect the first 15 minutes to be sitting on your stool while the instructor works with the other dogs then a quick 20 seconds with you without any additional instruction. Following that was play time. I can't even really call it that because as soon as 2 or more dogs start to play we are instructed to give the dog a pause. It was really fun to hear the instructor say "good pause". After the play time the instructor handed us an orange cone and we fed the dogs treats when they looked at it and prevented them chewing it. So why 2 stars ? 1 star as the facility was decent even though it lacked any grassy area outside for relief(large rock area was a poop swamp). And 1 star because if this is the literal only resource a puppy has for socialization it is better than nothing but there are better options out there. I hope this review will help prevent you from the feeling I had this morning of wasting a beautiful Saturday morning. In response to the owner. I was told I must take this class before I could attend the level 2. The trainer was supposed to observe my dog's current level. This never occurred and as I had minimal interaction with the instructor. I would also say that there was only 1 other dog in the class that wasn't reactive to other dogs out if 10. I would be concerned about attending this class with borderline puppies as they are likely to pick up bad habits.

Wow 🤩 what an awesome team, facility, and experience!!! We signed up our 13wks old Min Pin for Kinderpup 1 and we’re so glad we made the investment. Our pup had the opportunity to socialize, learn, and play (safely) with other pups while we waited for her full round of shots to be completed. I’m happy to say thanks to the addition of Paw School to our routine, our puppy is living a happy and full puppy life at dog parks and at home which is a complete 180 of where she was a few weeks ago. I highly recommend this for every new puppy owner it’s a great way to bond with your new family member and a safe way to introduce them to new experiences. We’re going back for kinder pup 2 and beyond 🥳.

I have a working breed dog who I brought here for private agility lessons, as living in an urban environment makes it hard to meet his needs with walks and puzzles alone. He LOVES it! We've been coming every week for over a month now and he cries and barks when we pull into the parking lot. It makes me so happy to see how much fun he's having, and I have been learning a lot as a handler (I'm definitely learning more than he is)! We've worked with multiple trainers and they've all been awesome.
