My dog's most recent stay was filled with poor communication and we didn't return home with all of his items. Then they canceled his next stay less than 24 hours before I was set to leave town. Find somewhere that will communicate professionally and in a timely manner. Of course, hours and days later they will have a well worded reason but that doesn't excuse the lack of well timed communication. What's truly unacceptable is that any possible issues were not brought up until I was trying to add a date to an existing reservation. It is a blatant lie to say I was told after my dog's previous visit. I was told he was reluctant to interact for the first two days of the stay but that he was fine after that. If things were truly as dire as stated in the company's reply below, they had my phone number and an app they could have notified me through. These claims make the fact that they extended that last stay with no issue or any mention of the problems they claim below. It also needs to be said that they only "became aware" of the missing item after I told them. The communication is lacking for this company and ownership. After reading their response (which is longer and more detailed than any communication I've received thus far), it seems decency is as well.
