Pawmos Dog Training

Gabriel is the business owner and an expert trainer for my dog. I have a 13year old maltese who started barking constantly in my apartment, causing the noise complaints and landlord notices. In the 2 sessions with Gabriel, I got to understand much more of the stimulus from me, the apartment and other factors that I was never aware of which impacted my dog’s levels. We were able to quickly understand some of his behaviors and inputs and even learned more about how to communicate during our walks and other lifestyle activities. I highly recommend Gabriel for his professionalism, calming demeanor, extensive knowledge and patience to undergo every detail beyond my initial ask to improve the bond I have with my dog.

Gabriel is truly an expert. He helped us completely transform our two pups from frightened lil babies to confident, active ladies. They both had very different issues with walking and socializing. We also worked on off leash training and recall. He was able to calmly and clearly address everything we could think of in 3 sessions. A lot of the work involved addressing how our behavior and body language affects our pups. His lessons were consistently fun, attentive and interesting, and completely changed how I understand dog behavior. I will forever be a better dog mom because of him. Truly grateful!

Gabriel completely changed our lives with our 4.5 month old puppy, Mia. When we adopted her we noticed very quickly that she was unable to settle on her own, which is not something we had experienced with other dogs in our lives before. She would get overstimulated and overtired so easily and then wouldn’t sleep, which just contributed to more problems. Since she couldn’t sleep or calm down on her own, she would bark, get bad cases of zoomies, nip/bite on furniture constantly and so much more. Mia hated her crate as well which made things even more challenging. We had Mia stay with Gabriel and his family in their home for 8 days. When I say I got back a completely different puppy, I am not exaggerating. He was able to work with her on self-settling while also teaching her recall, manners with other dogs, and shaping up some of our leash training. Mia has amazing recall now - we can take her off leash to the park, and feel confident that she will stick by us and listen. She also naps on her own now, which may seem like a small thing, but wow, what a difference. Having a puppy who doesn’t sleep on their own was draining on us, but now, she is a completely different dog, and she’s so much happier now! Gabriel taught us that we don’t have to go overboard with “trying to tire our active dog out”. In fact, the advice we had gotten from other trainers and things we were trying before “to tire her out” were contributing to her getting overstimulated. Gabriel helped us correct that, and we are so grateful to him! Overall, Gabriel is one of the best people we have ever met and he completely changed our lives for the better with our Mia.

Gabriel is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He has such a great, calm philosophy about dog training. We have a 4 month old mix who is very sweet but was struggling with walking on a leash, calming down (besides normal puppy exploration), and attention seeking/barking. She spent 7-8 days with Gabriel and when we picked her up, she was noticeably so much calmer and just felt like she was much more confident with herself. He will explain his methods of training and so much more. We now have a very well mannered puppy (if that even exists!) and we couldn't be happier that we found Gabriel. Thank you!

Gabriel is excellent. After our first session we were so impressed that we signed up for his Pawmos subscription, which is full of awesome and informative videos. Gabriel is so knowledgeable and calm, he immediately put us at ease with the issues we were having, and has helped us immensely, with lots of individual attention, to improve our training and communication with our puppy. Highly recommend!
