Pawpano Beach Dog Training

Scout (our 7-year-old mini Aussie) just finished the 3-week board and train program with Skye, and we’re so impressed. Before training, he would bark all the time for attention or to get what he wanted, he had quite a bit of separation anxiety and struggled with impulse control and his reactivity. Now, he’s much more at ease and a great listener! He loves to train, and the transition home has been smooth thanks to everything she taught him (and us)! Skye is super knowledgeable and her communication was awesome. She sent daily photos and videos that helped us follow along and learn too. She even took him for plenty of field trips so he could practice his new skills out in public too! It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does, and Scout was completely comfortable with her from the start. We’re beyond happy with the results and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a kind, skilled trainer who really cares!

I feel so fortunate to have found Skye and Pawpano Beach Dog Training. I actually thought I was getting a recommendation for her, but turned out she was better than the option recommended to me and I was very lucky to have discovered her! We didn’t send our dog until she was 1 years old because I was so nervous to give our little lady over to just anyone for a board and train program. Milo is our 4th Samoyed and we wanted her to have good manors when we have visitors over; however, Milo being in loving hands was very important to us. Skye sent daily videos, pictures, messages and you could immediately feel the loving way she had with all the dogs. Milo came home much better behaved and the added perk is we can reach out for boarding when we go on vacation. I will feel so good going away now, knowing Milo not only will be in good hands, she will also be super excited to have a reunion with Auntie Skye and any other fun friends who are staying with Skye! Finding Skye and Pawpano Dog Training has been very refreshing and I know she will now be part of our tribe for life! Thank you Skye for all you do and are doing for dogs across south Florida!

I can’t say enough about how amazing Skye is as a dog trainer. From the very first time I met her; it was clear she has a special gift for connecting with both dogs and their owners! My dog, Jasper, has made incredible strides under her guidance, and I’ve never felt more confident in my abilities as a pet parent. It’s evident that she genuinely cares about both the dog and the owner, and her approach has made our entire training experience—mine and Jasper’s—positive, collaborative, and rewarding. Additionally, I’ve had the pleasure of boarding Jasper with Skye, and I never have to worry. I know he’s not only safe but also beyond happy while he’s there. Skye’s care and attention ensure that he continues to thrive in a familiar, supportive environment, and it also provides the perfect opportunity to refresh his training, which has been invaluable. We adopted a young adult dog who had lived outside or with free access to the outside. We live in a townhouse without a yard, and quickly realized she was not used to walking on a leash, housebroken, or properly socialized. We found Skye on Google and decided to try her. We are so glad we did. After the first training session, we saw a tremendous change in Kenya. Skye introduced us to a prong collar, which we were previously told to avoid. It made a huge difference in the quality of Kenya’s leash walking and other behaviors. We cannot recommend Skye highly enough. She was good with both us and Kenya. She was very patient with us and helped us to regain patience with Kenya and confidence in our ability to handle her. We were at our wits end and considering taking Kenya back to the rescue we adopted her from. In 4 weeks, we have a totally different dog that will be another great life companion.

I can’t say enough about the impact Skye has had on my dog, Rocco. My girlfriend had been looking for a board and train program for months, trying to find someone we could truly trust with Rocco. Rocco had become more reactive, especially toward men, loud noises, the TV, and other dogs. Not only did she help Rocco build confidence and obedience, but she also made sure my girlfriend and I were fully involved every step of the way constantly sending videos & pictures of all the great things he was learning as well as all the fun he was having. Skye truly has a ton of knowledge in this space & highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to train your dog.
