FirstBarkI did quite a bit of research regarding local dog trainers before deciding to book training sessions with Paws Afoot. When I spoke with Lisa I was impressed on how she described her approach/philosophy regarding training. Lisa uses treats and click training which my dog responded to very well. Lisa has a very gentle effective manner and I would recommend her to anyone.

We had a great experience with Paws Afoot. Lise did a wonderful job advising and showing us how to work with our nine month old Morkie. Lise uses positive reinforcement and our puppy responded very well. We are very grateful for all the advise and help Lise gave us!!
Lisa did a wonderful job helping us with our new pup. By the end of just three sessions I had a entirely different behaving and attentive puppy. Her methods are straight forward and easy to replicate on your own. I highly recommend her.

Lise was our saving grace. We have a 13-month old Standard Poodle that was beyond stubborn. He refused to come when called and insisted upon pretending he was a sled dog in the Iditarod every time we took him for a walk. He loved to body slam visitors. After the 1st visit with Lise we noticed a marked difference in Stanley. Her training methods are based in kindness and very effective. She met him at his level. If Stanley started losing focus, she gave him a break. Every lesson ended on a positive. She worked tirelessly with my husband and I answering our questions and helping us get the training techniques correct, so we could continue building upon the skills she taught us. By the end of our 4th visit, we had a new pup and 2 very happy humans. We are well on our way to having a happier and better behaved/adjusted pup and we're better owners. Most importantly - we have a better bond with our best friend. Thank you, Lise!
Our dog instantly lived Lise. Lise was very helpful to us and taught us new tips as it’s been a very long time since we have had a puppy. Also her fees were very reasonable.
