Paws and Possibilities - Maryland

Paws and Possibilities is wonderful! We have had many dogs over the years and all of them went to training. Paws and Possibilities and their Manners Matter is the best training we have done. It is well structured and we learn so much not just about our puppy but about how our actions affect our puppy. Paws and Possibilities is helping us to not just train our dog how to be obedient. It is helping to build a foundation between us and our puppy that will ensure she makes good decisions as she grows and for years to come. All of the trainers are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They are patient and help to answer all of our questions.

When my husband surprised me with an Italian Mastiff puppy, Luna, I immediately knew we would need professional training. As a giant breed dog who will eventually weigh close to 150 pounds, it was important to us that Luna learn good manners and obedience from an early age. I remembered hearing about Paws and Possibilities years ago through a Facebook group and reached out to Kim Greco and her team. From my very first conversations with them, I felt confident we had found the right fit. Kim even welcomed me into her home before our board-and-train program, gave me a personal tour of the training space, and patiently answered all of my questions. We enrolled Luna in a four-day board-and-train program when she was six months old, and the results were incredible. The difference in her demeanor was immediate. She came home calmer, more focused, and much better behaved. What surprised us most was how much the training reduced the overall stress level in our home. We didn't realize how much energy and chaos a young puppy had brought into our daily lives until we experienced the transformation. We were so impressed that we immediately booked a second four-day board-and-train session. Luna continued building on her skills, reinforcing what she had learned while adding new behaviors. Once again, we saw tremendous progress. What sets Paws and Possibilities apart is that they don't just train dogs—they teach them how to be well-mannered members of the family. We've also participated in in-home training sessions and are looking forward to continuing with virtual classes. Kim and her entire team genuinely care about the dogs they work with and the families they support. We only wish we had found them sooner and used them with our previous dogs. From the bottom of our hearts, we are incredibly grateful for everything they have done for Luna and our family. I cannot recommend Paws and Possibilities highly enough.

We adopted our dog from the SPCA in November, and what first drew us to her was her hilarious name, Barka Streisand (now Sadie!). She looked so happy and full of life in her photo, almost as if she was smiling. We brought her home to our two boys and our 13-year-old dog, excited to welcome her into our family. Early on, we realized that while Sadie is a happy and lovable dog, she was reactive toward our older dog. We began to feel like we couldn’t fully trust her around him, or even around the kids. We love her and were committed to doing whatever we could to help her succeed in our home. A friend referred us to Paws and Possibilities, and we are so incredibly grateful they did. We connected with Samantha about their board-and-train program, and from the very beginning, she was knowledgeable, compassionate, and reassuring. She truly understood our desire to help Sadie thrive as a member of our family, and she gave us the confidence that Paws and Possibilities could help us get there. We enrolled Sadie in the 3 week program, and it made such a difference. We received daily videos, which we absolutely loved, not only because we missed her, but because they showed us exactly how to continue the training at home. One example that really stood out: before training, Sadie would knock food out of our hands at mealtime. After just one week, she was sitting and waiting until we released her. It was incredible to see her progress. Through the videos, it was also clear how much Sadie loved working with Sean, Annie, and Kim. They included her in group classes, and we were so proud of how far she had come in such a short time. Since completing the program, we’ve continued reinforcing everything we learned, both through the training videos and ongoing sessions,virtually and in person. The experience has strengthened the bond between us and Sadie, and we feel a growing sense of trust in her interactions. We are so excited about the future and can’t wait to continue this journey with Sadie as she grows and thrives. We are truly grateful to Paws and Possibilities for helping our family.

I just want to share that we are absolutely over the moon with the training our Lab puppy is receiving through Paws & Possibilities!!! We've had other Lab puppies in the past, but it had been a while. When we brought her home at 8 weeks, I was completely overwhelmed and frustrated. We have been doing manners training and obedience with Paws & Possibilities for 2 months now and my frustration is completely gone. I know that we still have a ways to go on our journey, but the program has far exceeded our expectations. The staff are so knowledgeable, friendly and patient with us. We don’t look at going to training classes as drudgery, but rather look forward to the experiences. And the other pet moms and dads in the training classes are super supportive too. There are even Puppy Socials held twice a week for pups 6 months and younger to play and socialize under trainer supervision. It is the best!!! Now when I take our puppy out in the neighborhood to practice her training, our neighbors comment about how well-behaved she is, especially for her age. I always tell them that the training she is receiving from P&P has made all the difference in the world. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

We are returning customers with a new rescue dog. Kim and her staff of 10 years ago set us on the right path to sharing a wonderful life with our Golden Retriever puppy, Oscar. This time around we have a 1 year mixed breed rescue, Murphy. He has been with us 5 weeks. We have been doing the beginner classes at 3 locations in Arnold/Severna Park and have learned so much. We have also been taking advantage of the virtual sessions with Samantha to address separation anxiety. These virtual sessions have been a hugely helpful surprise. We were able to host Thanksgiving in our home last week with a lovable, happy, well-mannered dog.
