Paws Down Best Dog Training

Paws Down did a great job with one of our foster babies, named Obi. We signed him up for a three week board & train, and Obi really fell in love with the process and always came home happy & excited. From the first day Obi met Hector from Paws Down, they had a good bond and you could see him making the connections & improving each day. Amazingly, one of Paws Down’s previous clients saw Obi on social media, and once he saw that he was being trained by Hector & his team, he said he definitely wanted to adopt. So not only was Obi trained, but through the good reputation from Paws Down, Obi also found a Forever Home.

I've never met a real life Caesar Millan, but Hector is that! He and his team took our crazy, vicious, out of control German Shepherd who couldn't be around ANYBODY but our immediate family, and turned her into the best dog ever. Upon meeting Hector, his calm presence with our dog, his desire to understand us and to understand her-- it put us so much at ease. He has spent so much effort and time on our dog and it has paid off. He trained her at his house, he took her around the places WE wanted to be able to take her and around town in general, and he took us in hand to teach us how to be with her. She responds to commands, she doesn't bark at every single person and at nothing, she can meet new people and go to new places, and more than that, we now understand our dog's behaviors and needs. We also love how he didn't squash her personality. She still is HER. But she is a better version of herself. Hector always is beyond professional and works so well with our young children too. We cannot recommend him enough. I would absolutely tell anyone who struggles with their dog's obedience this: it is NOT a risk to go with Hector & his team. I was worried I was risking our hard earned money because I didn't know if it would "work"....but what I learned is that Hector will not give up until it does work. He will walk you through every step of the way and he will change your dog's life. He will not leave you out to dry either if you need any extra assistance. He is flexible, professional, knows his stuff, and he and his team are A+. WE LOVE PAWS DOWN!!!

Hector took so much care with my boy Uno! Coming from a military background, and how close I am with my dog, trusting a trainer is not easy, but after my initial consultation with Paws Down and Hector, I knew in my heart this is where Uno will receive the best training, compassion, and Results!!!! The results blew me away! The 3 week board and train was so good for Uno! He is absolutely on his way to becoming a great service dog, and myself becoming the best dog handler for my boy. **VETERAN-OWNED** We just finished our Semi-Intense Board and Train training program for our Golden Retriever pup, Franklin. Not only is it obvious that our dog has more confidence and some great new skills, we as owners feel more confident handling him on walks with our own separate training classes. We are going to continue more classes with Hector and the crew to ensure we as owners are equipped to help Franklin keep his skills. The Paws Down staff are awesome, kind, and they very easy to communicate with to include constant updates about our pup throughout the board/train period. We would and will be recommending their services to anyone we know needing training/rehabilitation for their dogs. We are so grateful for Paws Down Best Dog Training!
