Come see why our training is head and tails above the rest. We teach you how to communicate with your pup using positive reinforcement learning in our puppy classes. Our small class sizes offer a more personalized approach, taking you from the moment you bring your new puppy home, through becoming an AKC Canine Good Citizen. We also offer private training or in home day training, for those pups that need a little extra.

Hi! Julie at Paws Down Pets has come to our house a number of times to train the dogs (mostly the dog owners, in reality), our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. We went from having food guarding and other behavioral issues to having relatively calm and responsive dogs. Of course, the important thing is that the owners are consistent with what Julie teaches us. Julie did an excellent job with practical tools to train the dogs and solve problems. She sent us emails summarizing what we worked on and with helpful handouts attached. I would highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for a non-aversive dog trainer in Clark County.
We highly recommend Paws Down! We/ our dog learned so much in her Good Dog level 1 class and we are excited to take the next class up. Definitely worth the investment of time and money!
