Paws Forward Training

Training with Patrick was an excellent experience, highly recommend! I filled out an inquiry on his website late one night & he responded first thing the next morning. Not pushy at all, we discussed what I was hoping to accomplish during our training sessions. Floyd was already pretty well-behaved when we adopted him, I just needed some guidance on how to train a dog. Patrick is professional, extremely intelligent, & an overall great teacher. I now have much more confidence handling Floyd, especially out in public. We definitely are looking forward to training more with Patrick!

Patrick is great. He came to the house, saw how Bear lives in his "natural environment", and listened to our goals for Bear. We had 5 sessions with Patrick, spread over 7 or 8 weeks. Each week we had something to practice with Bear. Patrick taught us how to continuously train Bear, advised on better dog products, and also taught us how to properly use an e-collar. I came away from the sessions with a much better understanding of my dog and what I need to do as an owner. Bonus, I can now walk him on the bike path without a ton of stress! Overall, I'm glad we invested in the training.

My rescue dog Gino was 4 y/o when I adopted him from the Humane Society. He had been in the shelter system for almost half his life, was not housetrained, knew no commands, and zero leash manners. Patrick steeped in and took the time to learn about me, Gino, and our goals. He created a tailored training program for us, part Gino/part me. Each session was a two hour hands-on that involved demonstration, return demonstration, and video so we could review techniques. Within two lessons people were commenting on how nicely Gino walked. After six lessons I have the best behaved dog I have ever had! I look forward to advancing Gino’s manners with another round of six lessons.

Called Patrick to help with our two Frenchies. He called me back same day and went over the different training options. Patrick is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and came highly recommended. I love that he is willing to meet your dogs where they are, use the equipment you already own and selects the training locations that best suit your needs. We had 5 sessions and saw tremendous improvement!! We will also be calling him back for some “refresher” sessions along the way🐾🐾
