We called Melissa because we had a 10 month old Golden Retriever who LOVES every person and every dog, jumped on people, didn't come when we called... pretty much ran the show. From the first week he was walking without pulling. Freddie now has freedom and we are more relaxed. He greets people by sitting to be petted or laying down and rolling over to have his belly scratched. The whole experience was wonderful. Melissa listened and resolved many of our daily life struggles such as getting Freddie in and out of the car. She definitely understands dog and dog-owner behavior and gave us the confidence we need.
The moment I met Melissa I could tell right away that she is a kind and compassion person. She was willing and able to help me and my Dog Jaxson. She showed me new tools that will aid me and Jaxson to become much better partners. I recommend her for training you and your beloved pet.
Melissa is a patient trainer, skilled in training both dogs and their humans. I wanted to learn how to have my dog stop pulling when on a leash. I saw an immediate change in my dog’s behavior after the first session! So nice to finally be able to have an enjoyable walk with my highly energetic German a short haired pointer. I highly recommend Melissa for any of your dog training needs.
Melissa was great with our rescue. She listened to what we were looking for training wise and focused our sessions around that. Now our dog is more confident in new situations and looks to us for guidance when she is nervous. She is also reliable off leash!
