Melissa was recommended by my groomer. She had taken her dog to Melissa for training and had great results. My dog Walter was very reactive. When we went on walks, any person or dog we came in contact with would cause him to bark and strain at the leash. It was very difficult to control him. I had considered re-homing him on a few occasions. I had even started to complete a surrender form for him. Walter is a very sweet dog in the house. Very lovable and pretty well behaved. But in public he was horrible. After sending him to Melissa for board and train, he is a totally different dog outside. He walks well on the leash and can tolerate all the additional stimulation from being outside. I get comments from my neighbors all the time when they see us about how good he is. I can take him for walks, he’s been to the vet and has been at a kennel since his training and he is so much more calm. I am so happy with him. I always loved him, but now I can relax with him and not be worried about his reactivity. The work Melissa did with my boy was worth every penny. Oh and the work she did with me. I feel like have the tools to handle my smart, handsome boy.

Paws from Heaven is by far the best experience we have ever had with trainers. Melissa is professional, reliable, a great communicator, accommodating and cares deeply about her “trainees!” We more-than-accomplished everything I wanted to cover in our 8 week sessions and I will definitely use her again for additional training. We also used Melissa for boarding and training and were very pleased and at ease knowing our puppy was in good hands. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We are so thankful for the referral to Paws from Heaven Dog Training. Melissa is by far the best we've ever worked with. Communication was great and we were able to schedule sessions quickly. She was very accommodating to our schedule and helped us quickly tame our high-energy lab puppy. We have also boarded our puppy with Melissa and he was treated like her own! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Melissa was an absolute professional. Knowledgeable and flexible with our schedules. She went right to work training our adolescent male Dane. Walking our 2 Great Danes was rough but her techniques and guidance have now made our walks a pleasure. Prompt, courteous with a no nonsense upbeat attitude. She won’t let you quit!! We just finished our last training session Melissa is fantastic. She took away the fear from my dog to be by other dogs. I would highly recommend her for any dog training. She’s very patient With both me and the dog again, Again, my dog is eight years old and has built many bad habits mostly my fault but Melissa was able to break those and now we have Better time while walking her thank you again also
